!!Customer beware!!! Our home warrantyAHS sent these guys out to our home and Cecil with Genus plumbing came to our home. Due to we had a pipe bust and leak all in our closet and garage. This guy Ceil looked at our issue and told me he was going to have to bust out our floor and wall because it was a slab leak and it had been leaking for a long time which is also what he told our warranty and so obviously they wouldn’t cover it due to his verbiage. I told Cecil and my husband told Ceil this leak just happened it hasn’t been leaking for a long time because we are constantly in our garage and watching our hot water tank due to it busting last year(We would have also noticed it on our water bill which we called our water utilities and they showed now leaks in the past but do show now because we have an AMR meter and they can read this right from their system). He didn’t believe us and told us that’s his story and he isn’t changing it! $3600 to him and nothing else! We called to speak to a manager to find a resolution and they had Cecil who is not a manager call my husband and tell my husband he isn’t changing his mind! We called our home warranty got a second opinion new plumbers came out said it was something they could fix wouldn’t have to bust out the floor it’s not a slab leak and it hasn’t been leaking for a long time because they would be able to tell and we would too due to where it was! They fixed it for us with no problems and warranty covered it! We are so beyond grateful we went with our gut and the opinions of outside contractors we went to church with and our nephew who builds homes and they all said these guys are crooks! Even the new plumbers said to us let me guess they wanted to charge you $3600 we said yep. Anyways stay away from them they don’t fight for you at all and don’t care! Get a different plumber assigned to you and save yourself being scammed and a huge headache. I cried and cried the day this man came to my home and told me I would have to come up with $3600! Don’t trust them!

Disappointed seems to be the best word to explain my experience. Plumb genius was assigned to me through American home shield ( which is always a terrible experience) for a leaking water spigot. My spigot was not covered under AHS, so I was paying out of pocket for this repair. The First thing you do when replacing a spigot, is measure the height from the slab, so you know where to cut on the inside of the home. Rather than do that, they decided to make several random cuts in my drywall, one of which wasn’t even on the correct wall. They finally got it right on the third hole they made And we were able to replace my spigot. As they were replacing it, I specifically asked them if they were going to replace the concrete. He responded “we will see “.My old spigot hole was filled with concrete to secure it to the house and make it airtight, which is the correct Way to do it. When Plumb genius replaced it, they filled the hole with silicone and said it was “secure”. Silicon is a FLEXIBLE SEALANT. not meant for securing anything…I contacted three other plumbing companies, who all stated it should be done with concrete, To ensure stability when twisting the spigot knob, so it is not twisting the piping within the wall. I felt uneasy about this, so I made a follow-up visit for them to replace it with concrete, the way it should be done. Plumb genius came back out, and I explained to them what I wanted Corrected. He twisted the knob with about 1 pound of Pressure, and stated “it secure, is that all? “ And left. Now have to pay someone to come do it correctly.

Worst plumbers ever. They actually broke my flush valve while replacing my fill valve. and then acted like I was the dumb one, anyone could plainly see it was broke. The plumber said that it was normal for the toilet bowel to hardly have any water in it. The third time out the only decent plumber that I saw tried to fix it by just rigging what was broke and finally admitted they needed to replace the flush valve the other guys broke. He stated he would talk to his boss and get the replacement part ordered and come back out to fix it. I never heard from anyone again. Worst plumbing company ever very pathetic when a nurse knows more about plumbing than the plumber. Don’t let these guys in your house. Plumb Genisus anything but.

Every person I’ve worked with at Plumb Genius has been courteous and helpful. They have gone above and beyond to help me; Each person has responded with care and respect, and I have felt like I was genuinely valued as a customer, and not just a number. Sometimes, when a person reaches out to a contractor to do a job inside their home, there can be anxiety over whether or not the company will be fair or on the level with their prices. I have not once questioned the honesty and integrity of the people I’ve worked with since contacting Plumb Genius. You can trust this company to be on the up and up.

Came out to fix garbage disposal, tech saw it was also leaking, he replaced all in about 25-30 min ! All covered under home warranty, and he didn’t try to upsell or charge us extra!! No arguments w warranty service, etc THANKS PLUMB GENIUS, tech was outstanding!
