Looks at reviews of Larry have been accurate and well deserved up to the point of this past Memorial Day weekend issue. He has always treated my wife with respect, honest, integrity, and with good detail. It all changed Friday before Memorial Day. He came out to fix a leak from a water valve. He wanted to come out around noon so he could get it done and start his Memorial Day weekend early. Replaced the valve very quickly according to our tenants. Proceed to charge $150 for a in and out repair with no description no explaining. My wife not knowing goes ahead and pays the bill. I get a text from our tenant again Friday afternoon stating her our pipe is still leaking from when the plumber came out. This seemed odd to me at first. I asked to receive a picture of the new leak. Unfortunately the new leak ended up directly below the treads of the pipe and the new valve. As some know you must use pliers to make this change or a valve. It’s an older house with older copper piping. Of course this started a “new” leak directly below the valve. My wife called Larry back out on Monday stating the same pipe was leaking. Can you see why it’s leaking? This was the moment to find out how true and honest someone is. He fixed the issue and never heard from him. My tenants tell me he had to cut a hole in the wall to replace a section or pipe but it appears the leak has been fixed this time. It wasn’t until today when my wife finally hears from him via text message that we had 2 separate leaks not related to each other. I have to replace the Valve again but I credited you $3 for the last valve. Todays bill was $140. So almost $300 to replace a leak that caused a new leak on the same old copper pipe. Only to try to convince my wife it was “two” separate leaks and I can show you pictures if you need me too. Of course my wife isn’t up to speed how all of this works. I have been in construction all my life and have seen issues like this quite a bit. I have always had Larry do plumbing work for us and communicate with my wife due to the very first interaction they had. I guess the more you take care or people the more you think they don’t pay attention and the more you can take advantage of them. I personally would beware. This is common from people who can get slow on work or have a lot of “new” customers that they want to keep coming back. The long standing customers begin to get charged more to make up for everyone else, as well as think you can slip something by a longer customer cause you feel you have gained their trust. Pictures below: 1st picture was leaking from the top of the valve, which has plumbing packing that over the years tend to go bad. This was replaced. 2nd picture is the leak caused from the pliers that needed to be used to replace the valve.

Larry at SOS was wonderful. Came within 20 minutes of my phone call and helped unclog our kitchen sink. Will definitely use in the future if ever needed. Thanks for great service!

Larry was very informative, very professional and very reasonable in price! He came to my house fixed the issues I was having and also taught me how I could prevent and repair the issues if it were to happen again. Also a good thing to know for anyone planning on using him he does give a 30 day warranty(not sure if it’s on all services) I am so glad to have found him I will definitely use him in the future if need be.

Larry responded quickly & resolved issue in short amount of time. Explained problem in detail. Very cost efficient also. Will be my go to plummer for any future problems. Highly recommend him.

I saw the reviews on Sunday evening and needed help with a dishwasher not draining properly and a bathroom shower handle coming off. SOS came out by 11am and was finished by noon. Fast, friendly, thorough and took the time to explain every step. I like that because some of the issues were so simple it was scary, but I did not know. My go to from here on out. Price was very reasonable. I appreciate your fast response to our situation.
