Honestly, I kind of feel like I got ripped off. It was $429 to clean my mini split indoor unit, which I understood. However, when it was discovered that it was also low on refrigerant, I was told that they could get another guy to come and look at it, see if there are leaks, and refill it for $900. They didn’t even tell me if/where there were leaks and tried refilling it. There was some issue when they were refilling it and could only fill it a small amount and I was still charged the extra $900. And the company will say that they are upfront with pricing but their ’minimum amounts’ are absolutely ridiculous. It should not be a $989 minimum to refill one small unit for a small apartment. So we paid almost $1,400 to have someone come to clean 1 unit and then someone to come, not fix the leak, and minimally refill the unit. Then we called they told us that we had a ‘throwaway unit’ and that we should get a better unit.

AC/condenser went out on Sunday night, called Monday morning and they were out in just a few hours, diagnosed the condenser as shot, replaced it the next morning. Extremely polite, Joe and team got everything fixed ASAP which was very appreciated in this heat. Cost was reasonable for job as well.

Tom Annan from Einsteins just fixed our AC! He was early and worked quickly to get our unit working, which we so appreciate during this heat wave. Yesterday one of their trucks was double parked on the wrong side for alternate side parking. They selfishly did not move their truck to the other side and the street cleaning vehicle was stuck, along with all of us, a block long caravan of cars, for approx 20 mins. What if there was an emergency? I get that workers need to double park, but for alternate side, you have to move the truck to the other side along with all the other cars so trucks and emergency vehicles can pass you. Note to Einstein, care about your neighbors, not just the paying ones.
