I just had the most disappointing interaction with them. I’ve been using them for 30+ years, but when I called to try to make a service appointment I had to leave a message, then call back when nobody returned my call. I then spoke to someone I had never encountered before, and who was quite rude, actually. They were scheduling 3 weeks out, and evidently don’t have anyone for emergency calls. When I explained that my need was immediate, and and asked if she could recommend someone I might call, she said “no” and abruptly hung up. I guess their business is so good the don’t need repeat customers, as they certainly lost one today. (Owner’s reply says I have an unpaid balance, but I’m not aware of one, cannot find any notice of this, nor was this brought up in the call. And the person I spoke to was abrupt and rude, imo)

We have an older house with a leaking drain from the upstairs toilet. Three top-rated plumbers in the area came to look at the problem but never gave us an estimate or called back. Redington sent a supervisor in a few days. He identified the leak quickly, told us exactly how they could fix it and gave us an estimate. Their plumber showed up a few days later and fixed a difficult leak in about 6 hours with minimum inconvenience, at reasonable cost, and below the estimate. Highly recommended.

Good estimate, on time for the bid and the installation of our water heater. The technician that installed the water heater was friendly, knowledgeable and happy.The office staff is responsive, friendly and kept us aware of any schedule changes. We are happy with J. E. Redington Plumbing and will be calling them for our next plumbing task.

We recently finished adding a bathroom and hired Reddington to do all the plumbing. From start to finish, I’ve been very impressed. Steve, who was here the most often, has been fantastic. Way to go, guys. Job well done.

I would like to sing the praises of J.E. Redington Co., a local plumbing company that has been in business for over 100 years. One week ago, on a Sat., my gas hot water heater of 18 years “died.” I first called a plumber I had used in the past and when his bid came in at over $3,000 for a basic 40-gal gas hot water heater, I called friends in the Commercial Construction business (VSP Construction & AJ Plumbing) for advice. It was then I was referred to J.E. Redington—I first researched this company on-line and the Better Business Bureau and found nothing but glowing reviews. After speaking to Tammie in their front office & their estimator, Rick Jr., I hired them; the installation was done on 2/11/22. J.E. Redington Co should not only get 5 stars, plus many more, but should also get awards for going the extra mile, excellent customer service, patience, kindness, and superior workmanship. No hidden costs, few, if any problems, just a job well-done. The Journeyman, Bill, was terrific and efficient and his apprentice, Brandon, was just the best. From Tammie in the front office, to Rick Jr., to everyone I’ve met at JE Redington, I now know why they call themselves “Your Home Town Plumber.” Thank you J.E. Redington Co for being one of the few, most honest, most reliable companies out there today!

I needed a plumber to come to my animal hospital on an emergency basis but couldn’t find anyone available. Despite being busy, Redington sent a plumber by right way to look at the situation. (I guess they could hear my anxiety, lol). The problem turned out NOT to be as big of an emergency as I thought. While they couldn’t repair the problem that moment understandably, they did come back later the same day to follow up. Both of the men I interacted with were very professional and courteous. I HIGHLY recommend!
