This is the company to use. We’ve used South Lyon Plumbing twice now and both experiences were excellent. For the first, we got competitive bids from at least 5 local companies on multiple different water heater models. Chris was helpful, quick to respond, and their quote matched the best bid we received. We picked them and the install went smoothly, the work quality was top notch, and communication was great. A month later we were getting a sulphur smell (we are on a well) and South Lyon Plumbing ordered and installed a new anode at a reasonable cost to take care of the issue. The 2nd time, our sewer ejector failed. I called South Lyon Plumbing and they were able to get out the next morning and installed a new pump. The experience was similar to our first one and we could not be happier with their service. We’ll definitely be using South Lyon Plumbing for our next project as well.

After a slight glitch with scheduling, Chris took care of all 3 of my issues. Reasonable pricing and everything was cleaned up afterwards. Would definitely recommend.

Next day service for broken water heater. Good price, arrived on time. Clean, efficient, done in two hours. Highly recommend, will use again soon. Update: Called them again for a sprinkler repair. Prompt service, fair pricing, straight forward bill. Very happy with service. Will continue to call for plumbing needs.

I had them out a few weeks ago to unclog my bathroom sink. They got the job done and were super efficient and respectful. They even helped me out adjusting my water heat after I mentioned that our water doesn’t stay hot long. I wanted to wait a few weeks to post a review to make sure their fixes lasted. Sure enough I still have a quick draining sink and scalding hot water! Would highly recommend their services.

I had heard great things about SLP from neighbors in Northville Crossing, a MANUFACTURED home community. Unfortunately, when I called to ask for an appointment to fix our sink, the man who answered went out of his way to tell me tthat “he doesnt like to send his guys to *that place* because *trailers* are poorly made and his guys might need a bandaid f they had to go under the trailer.” He went on to say he’d look at it but wouldn’t necessarily fix it. I told him his tone and demeanor told me he doesn’t really want the job. I’m certainly not going to pay someone to look and probably turn it down, especially since he went out of his way to make sure I knew his opinion on my home. I don’t believe you should treat potential customers in a rude, demeaning way. I am the one with money in hand, but I won’t give it to a company whose employee act like that. There are far more professional ways of turning down a job. Also, he was lying when he said he doesn’t send his guys here…a lot of folks in my community actually recommended them. Zero stars if I could. You don’t bite the hand with the money in it. 😡

Replaced leaking RO faucet. But, went over and above to contact Moen regarding our defective kitchen faucet. We didn’t even know. Moen is sending a new faucet. We sure will have Mark replace that one. Highly recommend their service.
