Got pitched a job for $4200 to replace main drain from house to septic which also included adding two clean outs, one going into the house and one going into the septic and fix broken toilet bolt. I thought I could have saved some money and went elsewhere but the guy did make it sound like he was going to do a good job and had a good sounding suggestion with the two clean outs so I agreed to let him do it. Well he didn’t show up and the guy who did the work only added one clean out and my toilet bolt is still broke. They said they would come back and fix the bolt and I haven’t heard from them.

These guys were great. JT has great customer service and worked efficiently as did his helper. I appreciate the quick response and the power wash of the main sewer line.

Water was backing up into my kitchen sink. Drain detectives came out. No luck snaking the sink, so they opened the clean out in the basement. Sewage spilled out, indicating a block in the main drain. Guy snaked for 30 minutes, ran a camera, and diagnosed a broken pipe. Said it’d start at 4K and that the insurance would cover it. Insurance only covers loss and not repair. We had no loss, as our basement wasn’t finished. The next day called another company for a second opinion. This guy snaked for 2 hours (sent out 48 feet of snake) and cleared a very stubborn clog, and he did not find any evidence of a break in the pipe. ALWAYS get a second opinion. It saved us some major unnecessary excavation, time, and cash. I hope this encourages the Drain Detectives to be honest with its customers. I felt like because it was later in the day, they just didn’t feel like doing the job. Instead, they wanted to hire a crew to bust out concrete after we cleared it with our insurance. Maybe the owner tells the guys that if they can’t snake it out in under an hour to move on. Who knows. The guys that came out from Drain Detectives were nice, however. But they were wrong in their diagnosis.

Had to use drain detectives on 2 separate occasions. JT was the technician that came out both times. Great guy, very knowledgeable and respectful. Well use again if services needed.

Rick and his entire team were phenomenal! After doing a sewer scope and realizing we had some major repairs to do to our sewage system, Rick was available to talk through the inspection report and come up with a plan of action over the phone. Once he and his team were on site it was clear that Rick was very knowledgeable and very detailed in his work. He did multiple walk arounds of the property to get a sense of possible solutions for where our new pipes should go and all along the way he explained his thought process and kept me in the loop. Once they began digging and laying in new pipes they were quick and efficient and again very careful with how they went about doing this major repair. I am truly so impressed with Rick and his whole crew. Drain Detectives has been incredible and followed up with me to make sure that everything was completed to my liking and Rick himself came back to the property to make sure that lines were hooked up correctly and that the entire job was totally wrapped up to my satisfaction. I cannot recommend Drain Detectives enough. They have earned their name and are super helpful and get the job done right!

Must say my experience with Adam and drain detectives was awesome. Fixed my problem in a timely fashion. And educated me to ovoid future problems. Friendly and professional. Will definitely be using again for any of my plumbing needs.

Drain detectives have been out to my house a couple of times to fix some plumbing issues. They always come out right away and provide great service. Adam and Rick were great. Won’t call anyone else!

Drain Detectives is an exceptional five star company. They were very responsive to my call, and were able to come out that afternoon to correct the problem – a plugged toilet. The gentleman who performed the work was young and very respectful – attentive to our questions and polite; he was very careful with his tools, – a lengthy plunger – not to injure walls or floor. I would make a point to request their services again should the need arise.

Rick came out within an hour and fixed the issue within 10 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Would recommend!
