Hartford & Ratliff Service Technician did a great job. Our in-ground pool heater and pump were up and running in record time. Too bad we had called their competitor first , paid for service call & part (we didn’t need) and still didn’t have a working heater till Hartford & Ratliff came out.

Our pool heater wasn’t working and giving an error code. I called and made an appointment. I was not told to have the pool heater running so they could see the code. So when the technician came out it was not showing what he needed to see? I thought he would hook something up to the pool heater to get a reading? But nothing. He just took the front panel off and stared at it. The technician proceeded to tell me I needed a new heater that would cost me around $6,000. If I wanted to buy the heater I would get it for the same price as they would. I told him yes however they would up charge me for it and is answer was , of course we would. I asked about fixing the heater and he said it would cost half the price of a new heater ($3, 000) and it wouldn’t last. Finally frustrated with the service and not getting anywhere I asked how much I owed just to get him finished since he hadn’t done anything thing except take the front off the heater and stand there looking at it. So I paid $189 for the technician to come give me a quote, stare at the heater and leave. What a waste of money. After that found a referral to another repair person in the area and they fixed it no problem for $180. I would not recommend Hartford and Ratliff ever.

Aside from being about an hour late for the appointment, Dante was very professional, methodical and meticulous with his work. He was able to adequetely solve problems that arose during the installation of the new water heater. Job well done.

These guys are awesome. They did a pool heater repair for me a year or two ago that was fast and reasonable. Had a new issue this year and made some recommendations over the phone that resolved it. They will have my business for life.

Hartford and Ratliff went above and beyond! I discovered at 2:30 on a Friday that my pool heater was leaking water and not working. I was hosting a large pool party for my daughter’s tennis team (it was her last tennis event because she is graduating). Beth was beyond helpful and worked hard to squeeze us in. The technician (I believe his name was Zack) could have started his weekend but instead made an extra trip an hour away from his last stop in order to get our heater up and running. The saved the day!!!! They were quick and professional and so kind to go the extra mile!

After visiting 5 other stores Hartford and Ratliff came through on finding me a replacement gas valve and got my families heat back on same day . 10/10

We had Hartford & Ratliff come in and replace an exterior faucet and our gas line to our dryer. They were very professional and completed the job quickly…the pricing also seemed more than fair. Would certainly recommend them and will be having them back for a few other projects in the near future.

Hired this company to fix an error on our commercial water heater in my business. It was over the weekend. They charged over $500 to come out and unplug the unit and plug it back in (something that could have been suggested over the phone first). This worked to clear the error in the short term; however, they did not investigate why we got the error in the first place. So, it happened again a few days later. This time we called Cregger Plumbing who charged about the same to do an hours worth of actual work repairing the unit and provided a 1 year warranty on their work. Granted Cregger did the work on a weekday, but it was a better experience in every possible way. I would not have taken the time to leave this review had your employee not been so cocky & unpleasant to deal with for my staff…which appears to be a theme in your negative reviews.
