Windy city construction 5 years agoHired Julio to perform a job that required painting and construction on my property. Paid him upfront to get started on the job ASAP as agreed. I was promised he could have everything completed in 2 weeks. The fourth week came around, I had a trashed parking lot, half way painted building, the worst concrete job I’ve ever seen in my life, and the job was still not complete. Julio Castro claims that he is licensed and bonded. He is not, we’ve done our research. He is not a professional contractor. He was unreachable and unresponsive at almost all times and always late or procrastinating why he could not complete the job on any given day. Julio used his young children and wife as employees to perform tasks that a trained professional adult should have been doing. Julio took advantage of us, he wasted my time, took my money and caused more work and damages to my property then when he started. Do not hire Julio Castro aka Windy City Construction and Property Management. I have reported his business to the better business bureau.
