If I need plumbing help, I call Dillon. Having owed and lived in the same house for forty plus years, I regret finding them so late, but that’s who I call now and always recommend them to friends and family.

I am single and needed help with a leaking toilet, this guy shows up at my house with the wrong phone # for me. I told him I had 80 dollars to work with so I asked not to do anything beyond that. He told me all of this work that could be done and told me that he’d take care of the extra cost over 80. He leaves to go get parts and while he gone sends me a text saying if I NEEDED anything while he was out to let him know, and I mean ANYTHINg. So I’m kinda flattered a little but not thinking anything would happen . I was very surprised tho, this was a professional business not just a handyman I just couldn’t believe I was picking up on this flirtatious behavior. So he gets back and it’s all awkward now he’s doing the work and getting all close as he’s showing me the progress. Then when he Emma’s done I asked what I owe and he said these exact words….” Oh nothing, you are taken care of” I was so surprised and grateful actually. So I’m thanking him over and over. All of a sudden he started to kiss me… I just went with it he was decent looking and shoot, this was not somthing that happens everyday. Of course I thought this could probably be The one”” and all of those thoughts went through my mind. Let’s just put it this way…. I am now getting a bill for 177 dollars for work that was done here. I have talked to the receptionist about the fact that it was I guess, taken out in trade because i did end up sleeping with him. I paid for it. The plumber keeps telling me he will take care of it but I’m being threatened with collections. What a mess, This man used me took advantage of me lied to me and the company won’t even listen to me about that. I have text messages to prove what he is saying but no one will show the desire to look into it. This is just unbelievable his name is Derrick, I bet he is married or something and I hope he has consequences for his actions. What should I do?

Charged me $5,000 to replace old sewer lines that they said were causing back ups. They did a good job replacing the lines but it still backs up almost every month. I have to constantly call roto rooter out. I left 2 voicemails with no response , so I never made a payment . Then they sent me to collections still with out a response . I would have paid if it was done right . The problem wasn’t fixed

The drivers that drive for this company are the most ignorant drivers I’ve ever seen 16 jcd has got to be the most ignorant one out of them all drives like a maniac flying up and down these little roads off of university. Then wants to act tough. This man should not be driving any company Vehicles as ignorant as he is. Please get this moron off the road and teach your drivers to drive a little safer for everyone

I called this company and spoke to receptionist who was so nice and kind! She got me over to Nate who responded quickly to my situation which w had given me so much stress because I’m widowed, didn’t know which way to go for something I could afford. Nate gave me a bid that was reasonable because I thought I had to replace 2 water lines. It turned out that I only had to replace 1. My city helped me out by moving my lines onto my property which were slightly on a very unkind persons yard. I have lived here over 50 years and I own a driveway which is very long to get to my home from the stops. J C Dillons company was incredibly great about my whole situation. I can’t say enough good about the way they handled everything. I would give them ten stars. They have to be the very best company in the central Illinois area. I stressed over this for months until I found them. I could not find anything I could afford from any other company. I got many bids and felt so disheartened. They listened to me heard my situation, they were sympathetic, kind very professional in everything they did. The whole process was streamlined, great employees, equipment and owners. We used this company 3 times over the course of a 6 month home renovation. Their plumbers are professional and generally do a good job but every time the bill showed up, 2-3 hours of labor were added on that were never performed. We noted the clock every time they showed up and departed and rounded every hour up and STILL the bill was always inflated by 2-3 hours. We stopped using their service because of this dishonesty and disrespect.

They start projects and don’t come back to finish. Call the office talk to brad Dunlap he says he will look into and and call you back, never does. Avoid this company at all costs
