Tahr Builders 3 months agoJeremy and Michelle have been incredible to work with. First and foremost, they are just genuinely good and trustworthy people. They have guided us through the build process and made things so easy. Michelle has a great eye for design and aesthetics and has been an indispensable resource in helping us make design decisions. Jeremy is able to effectively bring his building experience to bear to explain various concepts and concerns about how the house is to be built. He has been so patient with us and our tendency to add last-minute changes (I know, we’re that kind of homeowners; don’t be like us in that way). In analyzing and responding to our “great ideas,” he has consistently focused on finding the best way to make our design dreams a reality, while also clearly explaining the pros, cons, and costs of our available options. They are also uncommonly good at finding areas where you can save money without sacrificing the looks or quality of your project. Beyond Jeremy and Michelle, their framing crew has been a pleasure to interact with; they are good-natured honest guys who have never complained about having to make our requested changes and have been willing to put in later days to get things done. Jeremy and Michelle have good relationships with a lot of subcontractors in the area, and every sub they’ve recommended has been great to work with as well. While we haven’t finished construction yet, I can say that it has progressed faster than expected (even with our changes), and has been on budget. We look forward to completing this project and working with them again in the future.

Mountain Valley Construction a year ago⚠️⚠️ Be careful when driving next to their trucks. ⚠️⚠️ THEY DON’T SECURE THEIR LOADS therefore causing damage to vehicles and claiming it’s typical road hazard. I was traveling northbound when a truck traveling south hauling gravel crossed over double railroad tracks and flipped huge pieces of gravel out of his trailer. The gravel hit my windshield and caused several little rock chips and a huge crack bigger than my fist. I called the company and long story short they aren’t responsible and claim it was my fault, saying I was “following too closely” when I wasn’t even behind him, I was traveling the opposite direction. 😡 Just be aware because I would hate to see this happen to anyone else. Very unprofessional and rude.

Kauer Construction LLC 8 months agoThey dig house and shop foundations, install drainfields, build driveways. Everything to do with dirt and gravel, not quite a landscaping business but close. You can find someone cheaper, but if you find someone better then let me know.

JSM Construction.inc 5 years agoWe’ve worked with Jonathan, the owner of JSM Construction, for the past seven years. He builds great quality homes in a short period of time. He’s honest, intelligent, hard-working, and easy to communicate and work with. I highly recommend Jonathan and his company for any building project; whether it be a simple remodel, beautiful home, apartment complexes or light commercial building. He’s done it all, and done it very well.
