Bergau Plumbing did a great job plumbing my new home in 1975 with Beyer Builders, so when we had had an emergency water leak in 5 year new home I called Bergau to replace the PEX plastic valve in the utility room with a metal valve ! We later decided to replace the remaining 14 plastic valves thruout our home with metal replacements. The plumber ,Keto Douglas was very helpful by first showing us the new all metal valve replacements and how they are installed. Very pleased with a job well done!

TERRIBLE INCOMPETENT SERVICE!! RIPPED US OFF OVER $2000.00!! Called Bergau in Nov 2022 to fix a leak that was thought to be coming from our toilet and leaking down into the apartment below. This was directly after hurricane Ian and the apartment below was gutted to the studs so all the plumbing was exposed. The guy that came said it was the toilet seal and replaced that and reset the toilet. It was still leaking. Then he determined it was a pipe joint that was bad and proceeded to saw out pipes and replace. he cut the wrong pipe and ended having to replace a lot more piping because he said it was all bad. He did not seem like he really knew what he was doing. Once he got all the pipes replaced which ended up taking multiple days he said it was fixed and flushed the toilet several times to make sure. Nothing leaked at that point. My fiancé proceeded to pay the $2086.18 worth of unnecessary work with his credit card and while the plumber was running the card through I decided to run the shower in that bathroom which is right next to the toilet and sure enough water was gushing from a pipe into the downstairs unit again. He then decided that our seal around our shower drain wasn’t sealed properly (which we firmly believe was caused from all his cutting pipes and moving pipes) so he put some silicone around it and said to let it dry and check it the next day. It still leaked. We call him and he was perplexed and said he would need to come back the next day with someone more expierenced. My fiancé called him the next day when he didn’t show up and he told my fiancé that the shower wasn’t his problem, he fixed the toilet and that was all he needed to do!!! My fiancé then called the office and asked to speak to a supervisor and the “supervisor” told him the same thing, not their problem!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! They will rip you off!!!

Honestly can’t say how happy we were with this business. Hurricane Ian took out some plumbing issues within our home and the gents at Bergau came right out, got us back up and running, and the turn around was barely felt! They were personable, professional, reasonable, knowledgeable, and very efficient. Took the stress away from the experience. Since relocating here recently as lifelong residents from the Midwest, we were previously accustomed to true customer service wherever you went! That is CLEARLY NOT the same down here in SWFL. We found that trust we had known before with Bergau. Do not hesitate with this company as they are the real deal!

Fast, easy service. Called for a quote on a hot water heater and they gave me a price over the phone. Install was next day and went really smooth. Their techs Bob and Jeremy were really professional and the whole process was done in a couple hours. Good company, would recommend.
