Really disappointing experience getting an estimate from this plumber. Mike could have saved me time if he gave a rough estimate over the phone, since he looked up his price estimate from a plumbing flat-rate pricing book. Ridiculously high price quote to remove existing dishwasher and install another one I had in storage at my home. No way I was going to pay over $1100 for this service. Of course he got paid a trip charge for coming out to do the estimate. He pointed out that all the big plumbing services are charging these book prices, but that was the precise reason I was trying to use a local small independent business. I was not expecting cheap, just reasonable. The quoted price was outrageous considering I recently (over the past 2 months) used a Master plumber at my other home 50 miles away, and had two different services completed for much more reasonable pricing. Unfortunately that plumber doesn’t service Erie. Just saying this for context as I am not unfamiliar with purchasing plumbing services, especially recently. So the context of comparing his pricing to other Master Plumbers was More expensive, and he unlike other local plumbers chooses not to be transparent about pricing until he comes out to quote the job. By then it is too late to discover how over-priced he is. I would have given him ZERO stars.

Mike Bushard is the best quality master plumber…I’ve used him over the years from 2000-2022…and everything he’s ever done for me has been top notch. He’s never had to come back and fix anything after his first effort. Best quality and guaranteed…he rocks!

Our water heater went out on a Sunday night. I called Mike Monday morning and he was able to have a new one installed by mid-afternoon. Excellent service, friendly, professional. I highly recommend Bushard.

I had an emergency situation in my home requiring immediate attention. Mike was prompt with a return call, came out to assess the situation and had me on the schedule right away. He is a master plumber with many years of experience and was extremely professional, courteous and he kept me in the loop the entire time. He took the initiative to follow up with me after the job was completed to ensure that everything was in working order. This is definitely something I appreciated. Mike was thorough, affordable, and completed the work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for plumbing services.

Excellent company: Honest, fair and reliable! He is so professional and wears shoe covers when he comes into the house. He is neat and clean with the work that he does, and he is meticulous with his work, too, making sure to fix everything right the first time. I have never had a problem with Mike. He is a Master Plumber with many years of experience, and it really shows.

Total jerk. Seemed like a nice guy at first but tried to charge us $850 for a job that should have cost less than $300. He even said he was cutting us a deal. We called Around The Clog and they sorted us out for less than $300. This guy is a scam and tried to take advantage of us and our situation. Definitely DO NOT USE HIM!
