They had two vehicles, a white van and a truck, blocking both lanes of Mission during rush hour as they tried to make the right-left-U turn from Story street by the Abbey onto Mission towards Scotts Valley. Please don’t come into Santa Cruz if you can’t drive your large vehicles appropriately!

I’ve always used George Allen. A year ago they replaced my long time water pressure regulator, which had failed. Inexplicably, the brand new Watts regulator they installed gradually stopped working properly after just one year. I called them, and Tyler came right out. He determined that the regulator was defective and ordered a new one. When that one arrived a few days later, they immediately came out with it. Before installing the replacement, the tech partially disassembled the poorly functioning regulator to see if it were clogged with debris. It wasn’t, so he installed the replacement, which works perfectly now. These regulators typically last for many years, so I should be all set now. Notably, this was called a warranty repair, so there were no charges for the part or labor. The company stands behind their work and products. Very happy with this company and will always use them in the future.

Replaced leaking fill valve in Toto toilet. It was a little complicated as we had a Toto washlet on the toilet and the water connection was not straight forward. They did an excellent job and it went quickly. Works well.

Bought a water heater from them that’s producing brown water. We need service. I called and was told to just run my hot water more because changing the rod won’t help. Didn’t even want to come out. Then I look close and it’s not bonded. It’s under warranty. 4 months ago I had clogged drains back up in the house. He says they were too busy as business was so good that it would be two weeks. They’ve serviced us each year for 10 years.. I’m happy they’re so busy that they don’t need me as a loyal customer. 😞 I needed emergency service and went elsewhere and they came out the next day.

Very happy with George Allen and Sons! I called regarding my leaky kitchen faucet and was able to schedule an appointment very quickly. Tyler came out this morning, and noted that there was evidence of a previous leak. He diagnosed the issue as the valve of the reverse osmosis faucet. He described next steps and didn’t charge for this visit. This is my new local plumber!

Prices were high felt like it was a little priority for them did not feel that they were interested in the job so the job went somewhere else
