40 gallon water heater replacement in about 3 hours. They came with all the material necessary to be there in only one trip. Around $2500 including permits labor and what not. Don’t know prices well so take it as you will.

Just gotten Payless to install a 100 gal water heater. They had already inatalled several before in the multifamily buildings i manage. No issues after, which is what I like to see. Good value.

My Service Tech Joel was great as always. Curious and very knowledgeable. He took time to explain to me what the problem was and how to correct or prepared for it if the problem happened again in the future.

One of the pipe my water healer has a leak. So I called Payless to get a fix. Since I bought the water heater from them in 2016 (they still have my record), they waived my service call fee. They sent Joel Herrera to my home in Fremont the next day morning. He came on time gave me a quotation. The quotation was a bit higher than the quotation I got from a plumber. Joel called the manager to get an approval for a price match. Joel replaced a pipe and the whole procedure was fast and smooth. Joel did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Payless and thank you for their speedy service and wonderful customer care.

Both water heater and AC went out on the same day, during 107-degree heat wave. Not a good day to be stuck at home with my kids and elderly parents. Called Payless about the water heater and Joel arrived early and replaced our leaking water heater very quickly, in 100 degree plus heat! He even recommended an AC person who squeezed us in his schedule and came within an hour to check out our AC. (Everyone else I called was booked out for days.) I’m very happy with the professionalism and caring nature of Joel and of Payless! Would definitely recommend!

They came a day after we called and said our heater is broken and had ready replacement and gave options with warranties. We took the lowest one. Work was neat and clean and professional. Happy with service. Only thing made me take away one star was pricing. I believe if we shopped we would got $300-$500 less but i was busy with some office calls and wanted to get it done. We used them before and asked for existing customer discount and his offer was 1% less!! Anyways, work is good and happy with ir and will call then next time if we need them.
