My toilet gurgled and my entire sewer service line backed up. Mr. Sergio Gonzalez came out and fixed it immediately. He was done snaking the line within 30 minutes. Very professional and knowledgeable. I won’t use anybody else!!!

July 1, Old Republic sent this “want to be plumber” out to repair or replace a water heater, he said he couldn’t fix it without ok from ins co, said that since husband had checked out the connection for the leak it might not be under warranty. Ins co gave him OK to fix, 7/4, He installed new connetion. July 5, next day we noticed W/H still leaking. Again, we notified Old Republic. July 6, Sergio came back out looked at it say’s water heater needs to be replaced. Called Ins Co, got an OK to install a new water heater. Sergio comes out again July 8, to install new water heater but notices by this time water damage cause by the heater leaking over the weekend. He then says he wont be able to install in until Monday after water damage is taken care of. Also said it would be up to us to have it repaired. Called Old Republic and they informed us that they are not responsible for secondary damage…(On his first visit out there was no water damage, just water on top of heater. had their plumber fixed it correctly to begin with there wouldn’t be water damage) Monday July 11, afternoon we called to see when he would be here and he informed us that he was NOT coming and that the Old Republic was trying to contact us. (there are no messages on either my cell phone nor my land line) We called the insurance Co to ask what was going on and they informed us that Sergio refuses to come back to install heater, that we were hostile towards him and won’t be back. The only hostility that was shown to him Friday was a little aggravation towards the run around that was being given to us, there was NO HOSTILITY. Not only did we give him a check for the first trip he made out to our house and didn’t fix the problem, but I guess he forgot about the $100. cash given to him to reconnect the water heater in the beginning and the two beers he had before he left. hmmmm.

Service request made on 9/27 for delayed hot water and garbage disposal not working. Was told by Old Republic Home Protection that this was covered under the home warranty I purchased. They sent the work order to Gonzalez Master Plumbing Inc. Waited three days and no response. Called the plumber and spoke to Sergio. He said he would be out that day to look at the problem. He never showed up. Waited 5 more days and called Sergio again on 10/5 to ask when he could come out. He said he would be here at 6 pm. He showed up at 7pm. He spent 15 min. and told me the insurance probably wouldn’t cover the repairs. He then wanted $75 for the service call. He misdiagnosed a leak I had in the kitchen drain and told the insurance company it was due to a missing a gasket under the strainer. The leak was under the sink coming from a drain pipe not the strainer. He either has no clue or he is just lazy and wants to collect service call fees without doing anything. He saw the obvious leak under the water heater and told the insurance company there was no issues ! Needless to say nothing got fixed and the insurance company refused to pay because of his incompetence. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
