We called Water Heater Specialists at 12:30 because we found a leak in our old water heater. Rich arrived at our house at 1:15 and our new water heater was installed by 3 pm. He was extremely professional, efficient, and easy to work with. A very fair price considering the speed and quality of the work.

On April 29 we had a new water heater installed by Water Heater Specialists. It was put in the appropriate closet outside on an adjoining wall to one of the bedrooms. What we didn’t know at the time was that the new water heater was leaking due to faulty installation. Also unbeknownst to us the leak continued over the next 5 weeks causing seepage into the closet in the bedroom, soaking the rug in the closet, and eventually leaking into the room. The company came out and fixed the leak but we found another leak from another spot the next day. In addition, the company had incorrectly left the air conditioning pipe hanging in instead of reconnecting it to drain outside as it has for the past 30 years. This clearly exacerbated the problem and they tried to blame it on the air conditioning company! Now the mold and mildew has set in and the room needs to be restored, cleared, mold removed and the walls need to be opened according to the restoration company that we called. Water Heater Specialists told us to call a carpet cleaning company and send them the bill, a ridiculous solution as it does nothing to mitigate the real problem. We were also told that a field supervisor would be contacting us and after three days we still have not heard from anyone. Despite efforts to dry the carpet with a small heater, it still feels like a swamp. The first of two leaks. The second leak the next day was at the side of the tank . Black mold inside sheet rock facing the water heater. Still no call from the ‘field supervisor.’ Weeks later the company when we calculated (and paid) the cost of mold treatment, demoing water-logged sheetrock, installing new sheetrock, scheduling new painting and carpet; we had a $9,000 cost of their shoddy workmanship. We told them the damage and guess what? Haven’t heard from them since. Update: It took posting this negative review to get a response. As longtime residents and positive contributors to our community, our reputations and integrity stand on their own. This is a company that did a bad job and has attempted to place blame on the old water heater, the air conditioning company, and now the customer. The video and pictures tell the story.

I called these guys on a Friday and they replaced our water heater a hour later. They were quick, friendly, and efficient. The technician arrived on time, gave us some good info., fixed the problem within a couple of hours, and gave us a run-down andtee. Excellent service and a great experience.

We experienced a ruptured pipe external to our water heater that was spewing hot water which turned our garage into a steam room. Nick, with Water Heater Specialists, arrived at our place within an hour of making our emergency call. He was knowledgeable, professional and simply an all around good person to work with. We plan on having them do our water heater replacement down the line and highly recommend them.

I heard a horrible sound coming from my garage this morning. It was the water heater. Called water heater specialists and They came within a four hour window. Rich was my tech. Professional and friendly service. I would use this company again .
