Mike came and fixed my disposal – the warranty company I had (this is the reason for past tense) said that it was not worth fixing and they would only give me $75 to replace it but they would not do the replacement. Mike said it was a good disposal and fixed it in 10 minutes… he then helped me reinstall a small filter that another plumber had unhooked and said would be back but never did… I appreciated Mike’s customer centric approach, very informative and offered suggestions and did what he said he would do… He explained the philosophy of their company and I now a very satisfied customer.

Unfortunately, we had some issues with Lawson plumbing. The plumber forgot to turn the water off, and when the shower cartridge was removed, water poured out into our 2nd story bathroom and internally down our walls. This caused our 1st floor ceiling Sheetrock to warp. They are repairing this but it could have been easily avoided. The other issue was on the shower trim kit. The plumber told me to get one. I went to HD and sent him photos and asked if this is ok. Thumbs up. I noticed there were two choices, one with a faucet and one w/o. I got the w/o version. He questioned this when he arrived the second time to install the trim kit. He should have communicated clearly which version and also take a closer look at what I was planning to purchase.

I had used Lawson Family Plumbing about 2 yrs ago when I had an exterior leak in my home while I was in Hawaii. They came out promptly and, although the price was high, I was happy with the work. Fast forward to this past week. I had a new tub put in my master bathroom. Unfortunately, it was set a couple of inches off from where it should be placed. (and I am above ground, so wooden floor) I called Lawson to see if they could give me an estimate to move the drain 1”-2”. I didn’t hear anything back for 3 days. Finally I called for my quote. $4300.00!!!! No parts. Just labor. I won’t be contacting Lawson Family Plumbing again.And, I will update my review when I get my job done! Update; job was completed in half a day for $950 by Sav-on Plumbing. They were professional, timely, respectful of property, etc. & they did a fantastic job!

Outstanding. This is the second time I have used Lawson and both times were exceptional. The first was to replace a hot water heater that was original to the house. That almost lasted 5 years and had a very good warranty. Lawsons scheduled me in before the weekend which I really needed – within 1 day actually and said the heater was in fact covered under warranty if the technician decided it needed to be replaced. The technician, Gabriel, arrived exactly on time and was extremely professional and courteous. He verified the heater did in fact need to be replaced and he brought a replacement unit with him if we wanted it done. Of course we did and agreed to the fair labor charge. Gabriel was efficient and the replacement looked and operated as top notch.!I could not be happier and I can’t recommend Lawson highly enough. We will definitely use again without hesitation and hope Gabriel is our technician.
