I would rather snorkel in Crap Creek than call these crooks ever again! My gf and I recently moved in with her elderly mother and she had a leak under her kitchen sink. She wouldn’t let me fix it and insisted she call a plumber. They came out on a Friday afternoon and had to “order some parts” and said they’d be back on Monday. They called Monday and rescheduled for Tuesday. The only thing they replaced was 5 ft long piece of pipe and a couple of couplings that they could have gotten at any hardware store and probably had on their truck. They just wanted to get home and enjoy their weekend instead of fixing a little old lady’s leaking pipes. I didn’t know when they were coming to make the repairs and the night before had my safe out with a bag of old coins sitting by the garage doors in the basement, unlocked. I never should have left it unlocked but it didn’t occur to me that the plumbers were coming back when I left it there. Needless to say, my bag of coins is gone. Not only are these guys liars, they are also thieves. I’ve used KD and J in the past with no issues, but I will never call them for a job. If you want honest plumbers do yourself a favor and use a different company.

They couldn’t get a toilet and faucet to install for 7 days??!! We could have gotten both at Lowe’s for them to install. Unacceptable.

me and my Dad just moved to Gadsden and needed help with water flow into a washing Machine! apparently these people are worse than “Crooks” and the other posts stating how AMAZING they have to be FAKE posts! i had an 8 am apt this morning May 24th, to come out to look water supply coming to my washing machine and serviceman said that that there was a problem with the HOT water pipe, it was busted, when i told him i literally just bought the house, he told me i could just use cold water for now to wash clothes, all of that cost me 115 dollars. but then when i started to wash clothes there was no water of any kind there to fill my machine up. Here is the kicker! when i tried to Call K d & J plumbing back to tell them what happened-THE TELEPHONE NUMBER HAD BEEN DISCONNECTED!!!! then later on, when tried to call back a guy answered the phone , and when i told this “guy” who i was he hung up on me! when i called right back i got a voice mail. which was a slightly different business than K D & J plumbing then about an hour later i called back called the secretary and told her about the guy , him hanging up on me and the weird voice mail the secretary just said “we have been having problems with our phones”-lol wow-yes i would say that phone being disconnected, guys answering the phone and hanging up, and weird different voice mails would constitute “having trouble” with your phone! but then i told her i was expecting my dad’s $115.00 charge back which was not even quoted me yesterday. she tried to double talk me and finally hung up on me!!! Going to sick my Bank on them!!!! these people are just Con Artists!!i might be New to Gadsden, Alabama, but that does not mean you can Con me!!! Take my advice-DO NOT use these people. they think they are slick!!

For years I have used these guys and highly recommended them. That ended yesterday when the technician couldn’t repair two shower faucets because they were old and not Delta brand. Said they couldn’t get the parts that I can buy at Lowes or Home Depot today. However, they could cut holes in my walls and replace them. Another shower faucet was Delta but it couldn’t be repaired because the set screw on the handle was rusted (every set screw on every handle is rusted). But if you want to pay over $200 for them to install a $20 toilet valve, they are your guys. I feel like they were either trying to take advantage of an old couple, or they are complete clowns. I will never use them again. If you are looking for a plumber, do yourself a favor and keep scrolling.

Came out to house to look at drain pipe. Charged $115 service charge to give us an estimate of $850 on top of service charge. Said it was a 5 hr job for 2 people. Next day called another plumber and he came out and fixed it in 1 hour and charged $175. Never use these crooks!!!
