“Absolutely Terrible Customer Service and Complete Disregard for Customers’ Time and Money” I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with the service I received from Bugout. As an existing customer with a service contract, I expected a basic level of competence and respect for my time. Instead, I was given the runaround and left waiting for a technician that never showed up. It started when I contacted Bugout on a Monday to schedule a service appointment. I had to call them three times over four days before someone finally got back to me to schedule a Saturday morning appointment. Every time I called, I had to go through their call center and request a callback, which never materialized. I made sure to set aside a 4-hour window on Saturday morning to be at my vacant home, just waiting for the Bugout technician. But guess what – they never showed up! I called their number again and all they could do was “file a request” – no information, no updates, nothing. They promised the technician would call me shortly, but that never happened. After calling yet again, I was finally told that a district manager would be reaching out to me. Fast forward to Monday, and still no communication or service from Bugout. When I called one more time, I was informed that my appointment had been rescheduled for Monday, without any coordination with me first. This completely disregards my time and schedule, as I had showings in the home on that day. In summary, Bugout has demonstrated an utter lack of respect for their customers. Their customer service is abysmal, with constant runarounds, broken promises, and rescheduling without consent. I am a paying customer, and I expect a basic level of competence and consideration for my time. Bugout has failed miserably on both counts. I would not recommend this company to anyone. This company’s services are a joke and their billing is a SCAM. They bill you $258 for less than 10 min on site. They didnt even turn the crawl space lights on.. just used their light pocket light to perform their “thorough inspection”. After cancelling service, they still sent a crew out to perform a Termite inspection and then charged me for it even though I declined the service. I refused to pay the invoice and they sent ME to collections for the first time in my life. I had written documentation of the cancellation and they came out AGAIN and tried to invoice me again a year later. The process for cancellation is the punishment, they want you to give in and give up. DO NOT use these corporate commercial companies, they care about one thing and its not your bugs.

So I’m back with another 1 Star review of this company. Previously I had paid for them to install a crawl space moisture barrier in my home only to find out that they did less than half the job but I certainly paid the entire cost. I ended having another company complete the job properly. I had to come here to get someone to contact me and refund me my money from their previous “service” since calling wasn’t working. Yesterday I received an invoice letting me know I was charged a considerable amount of money for maintenance on the very same moisture barrier that I no longer have, only to be told that someone would have to call me back within 48 hours because “there’s nothing we can do”. I seriously regret doing any business with this company as this seems par for the course now. I would recommend people avoid them if possible.

Bug out is the BEST!! We had German cockroches and called bug out, and now we are bug free!! They come out monthly and spray the inside and outside for unwanted pest, and we have not had any more bugs!! I highly recommend using bug out they do the best job I’ve ever seen!!

We originally reached out for an issue with mice in our garage. We were pressured into signing up for way more services and told that if we didn’t sign up for everything right then, it would be more expensive in the future. Big mistake but we trusted them. Paid a ton up front and a few monthly charges. Only saw a technician here maybe twice at most that we can recall. We were paying auto draft from our account. Next thing we know we’re getting calls from a collection company. We have since found a way better company and have been very pleased with their services. Figured we were done with Bug out but then get a call that they are coming to perform a termite inspection. When they came my husband told them we were no longer interested in this company. They came back the next day to remove the equipment from the ground but left holes in the ground behind. We have 3 young children who play outside often in our yard and now we have to repair the holes. They didn’t even put the dirt back over. Just wanted to share with anyone considering this company that there are way better options and much better customer service elsewhere.

I have been looking for pest control company to do preventive service on my home and I am super happy I gave them a call. Customer service is great, technicians are very knowledgable and helpful!

Bug out is a joke. They were all nice at first but once you agree to a contract they screw you. I asked for a certain day and time for them to come out and spray and there tech shows up 2 days later while I’m at work. And that was 3 days earlier than I asked for. I called them a bunch of times and I’m either getting nowhere at all or hung up on. Everytime I have called they always have to transfer me to some other department and every department they have are all out in the field every time I call. They always tell me that someone will call me back shortly but never do. I have paid them money and I haven’t received any resprays. I’ve asked for my money back and cancel my contract but nothing has happened and I’m getting sick of there games. STAY AWAY FROM BUG OUT UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STILL NO PHONE CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 08-23-2022

paid this company 300 Up Front they Said they would come Every 2 weeks. After first Visit it took us Calling before they would return over a month later. Again Said two weeks and again no show. never did the Service they said they would do but Expected payments. We have had the pest in question Short Circuit a Desktop computer, a brand new Microwave oven.. Daily we have to tear Apart 4 desktops , 3 laptops, 2 gaming Consoles to Debug it because Bugout Couldn’t Do what they were paid to do

These are a bunch of hard-working people who do their best to make sure that you were satisfied with their service. The serviceman Ricky is friendly and helpful. And any Financial dealings with the company have been through Crystal who is above board and willing to careful explain all Financial dealings. All in all a very reputable company and a company with integrity.
