Superior landscaping & lawn care 3 years agoStay away or he might dump you too at the very last second no less. On Thursday, July 8th, Dave, the owner of Superior Landscaping and his crew were due to cut my grass. Every Thursday was my day up until this past Thursday. At 1:33 pm that very same day he’s due in, he leaves me high and dry and dumps me. So here I am in the heart of the summer with no landscaper because Dave decides to dump me at the very last minute. Now i ask you what are the odds of finding a descent landscaper as well as reasonably priced during the month of July no less. I’m sure he was able at some point way in advance to let me know he’s no longer cutting my grass. His excuse was he doesn’t have enough manpower. Granted it very well is possible; however, don’t wait till the very last second to tell me. I’m sure he had some sort of inkling way in advance that he could not fulfill his obligation to me. I paid him handsomely for one service. He waited to cash that check for $450 less than one week ago and immediately after cashing that check he left me stranded. His excuse was “we have no contract”. Imagine? What a response coming from a supposed business man. We had an implied contract while he was cashing my checks all along. Right? I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard that bit about having no contract. Finally, I asked Dave “how can you live with yourself” and quickly slammed the phone on him.
