I used Garden Masters for a few years. I started with a beautiful St Augustine lawn and have ended up with weeds, chinch bugs, an ant infested Black Olive Tree and do not believe I received service for a some of the months I paid for. They insisted they serviced the lawn but no sign left in yard, on three different occasions, and I was home all day on last supposed call and saw no one. I asked for a refund for last month which had not yet occurred (I am billed three months at a time)and I gave them 30 days notice prior to cancellation. I have received nothing. The service went from a 4 to a 1. I gave them numerous chances to correct and now regret my patience with them.

Have had Gardenmasters for several years and was happy with their service until recently. In April their new tech killed large portions of my lawn through over fertilization using excessive liquid or the wrong concentration. How do I know? I just look at my neighbors lawns who use Gardenmasters and other vendors and they do it have huge patches of dead lawn. Some don’t even have operating sprinklers. I have driven around PGI and noticed other lawns serviced by Gardenmasters with the same dead lawn as mine. FYI, you can kill your lawn for free no need to pay Gardenmasters.

We live in Canoe Creek, and Garder masters in the preferred lawn group. The yards they service are next level. John is the man; we love what they do with St. Augustine and ornamentals.

I was all set to cancel my service after 20 years because service was poor . Then I received a call from Johnny who came immediately to my home and not only sprayed but pointed out a few things esp noting an Armadillo digging under our mini – split outside . I am requesting him from now on and will continue with Gradenmasters as long as he is my service guy ! Anthony and Sally Dsouza

My experience with this company has actually been laughable. If they were actually trying to get rid of customers, I don’t think they could have done a better job. The salesmen makes all sorts of promises about what they will do and then the moment you sign up, they take your business for granted. I paid them $1600/year for fertilization, weed control, and lawn insect control. They did perform the fertilization for the most part but that is about it. I had entire chunks of my yard get overrun by weeds to the point where it killed off the grass and then I had to spray the weeds myself, wait for them to die, rake out the dead leaves and grass, and plant new sod and then hand water it multiple times daily for a month. I called repeatedly to complain that weeds weren’t being treated but they simply don’t respond. A few months back, they skipped one month of scheduled treatments but sent me a full invoice. I would say I called them no less than a half a dozen times to inform them I don’t pay for services not rendered. Person after person promising to call me back and my phone has yet to ring. Every time I have called they promise to follow right up and then they never call back. Well perhaps when they realize their final invoice will NEVER be paid, then I will hear from them. Alternately, perhaps I will report them to the attorney general because charging people for services that aren’t delivered is a crime known as fraud. Please look elsewhere. They don’t value their customers and their only interest is in sending you a bill.

We inherited this company’s lawn treatment service from the previous owner of our home. Over the last three years, Gardenmasters “results” have been off and on, but we stayed with them… until today. Large parts of our lawn have recently died. I called 11/14/23 to ask for someone in management to meet with me about the problem. As of 11/17 there has not been any further communication from the company. When I called today to terminate their service, I was told that “Mike” (owner?) was aware of “a problem” with the last tech and that a new tech has been assigned to our route. They’ve had at least three techs on our route this year. Seems to me that this company is having trouble hiring competent help.

Gardenmasters and my technician John brought my desert looking lawn back to life after only 2 sessions. I know have a plush green lawn that I can take pride in. Tried another service which was horrible and did nothing to make my lawn better. John is a pleasure to deal with and is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I would highly recommend their service.

One of their drivers ran my car off the road. The driver continued to weave in and out of traffic cutting off cars. If this is how they train their drivers then their service must be awful.
