The person who answers the phone is rude, and uninterested in my complaint as to the poor service they provide. Don’t waste your money with this company!! My yard is all weeds now due to their poor service. I asked to have the technician speak with me and I was told he is shy. Seriously?? The woman on the phone DID NOT WANT TO HEAR WHAT I WAS UNHAPPY WITH OR BE BOTHERED IN THE LEAST! I asked to have the technician come back and see what we need to do. I was told, “He will be back next month”. Superior does NOT care about the customer satisfaction at all.

The technician named Michael was just at our home and did a terrific job. He checked all of our sprinklers and fixed several that were not working properly. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. Thank you Michael.

Horrible service. They killed my new sod and didn’t replace it. I have the pictures to prove it. I don’t recommend them at all. They will kill your lawn. Don’t use them!!!

I have had superior for over 20yrs. Always 5☆ until this year. My lawn was the nicest on my block but this year my neighbors are growing and much greener. They don’t have the dead spots and weeds that mine has. What happened? Not pleased.

Beware if you’re considering hiring this company that you are locked into an annual contract. The reason they do so is that then they won’t stand behind the inferior service that they provide. I hired Superior to provide pest & weed control for my yard in addition to fertilization. After 6 months under Superior’s “management” of my lawn, what remains of my actual grass was completely choked out by weeds that completely took over my yard. Weeds completely took over my lawn under Superior’s care. My lawn would have better served to have no care vs. paying this company. I spent a backbreaking week pulling weeds by hand from my yard in order to attempt to allow my remaining grass to come back to life. When contacting Superior with my issues & dissatisfaction, I was referred to the manager, Rich Lagasse, who refuses to offer me a refund of the remaining 6 months of the contract & will not let me out of the contract. He just states repeatedly that there’s nothing he can do other than to enforce the contract. I met with Massey & they offer a month to month contract & they stand behind their work & will not force you to remain stuck with them if you are displeased with the service. For anyone out there in The Villages who is looking for care of your lawn, don’t hire this company. I wish I had done more research because I made a huge mistake & am throwing my money down the toilet while my lawn continues to degrade further & further each month Superior is “caring” for it. Run away from them as fast as you can & hire a company that knows what they are doing that will stand behind the work not a contract so that your lawn will not be destroyed. I can’t believe I paid them for this.

Just purchased their whole package of services including lawn, shrubs, pests and termites. The Citrus County manager, Steve, is extremely knowledgeable and the two technicians that were scheduled for two of the initial services (lawn/shrub and indoor/outdoor pests) were both efficient and very conscientious. We have the termite tech that applies the Thermidor into the ground surrounding our home to be scheduled and we will have had our initial services completed. Since Superior is a locally owned Florida company, it is apparent that they train their technicians well and the techs seemed satisfied to be working for the company owners which is a good sign to us. It will be interesting to see how things progress throughout the coming year.
