As a current, long standing customer of many years.. I’m not happy. Our tech Marshall has missed treatments at my residence 3 times now! Every time, it’s a different excuse. Whenever I call pestbear to voice my concern, it goes to a voicemail. So frustrating.

The house we bought had been unattended for a couple years and the landscaping had fallen into poor condition. Since we hired Pest Bear, the condition of the lawn, shrubs and plants are turning around for the better. With the professional advice from our service rep Steve, the lawn treatments have worked great and we are now proud of our property. Also, we have not seen any insects in the house.

Really terrible experience with this company. I was originally misled by the sales representative, who claimed that the service I was signing up for would do something that it wouldn’t. He also said they would spray one product for 4 months and then switch to another product. 4 months later, there was no word on the switch so I asked my technician to not come out and spray until I could figure out what was going on. Well, a different technician came and sprayed the same thing anyways so I called corporate and asked what service I was getting and told them I had asked for my service to be paused. They were unsure of specifics of how the products worked and what should be used and they saw nothing in the account about changing products, so I asked to have a manager call me. For 2 months, I have been trying to get my service figured out. The manager I spoke to told me that the original service was not what the sales representative had described, so I had been paying for an unnecessary service for months. The manager said we would change to the correct service in a few weeks; meanwhile, multiple different technicians kept trying to come spray the old product and I had to keep telling them not to come. One time a technician even added me in a group chat with 8 other homeowners at 7am, which I thought was annoying and unprofessional. The manager I spoke to told me the company would comp 2 applications of the new product, which I accepted but thought was frustrating since I paid for more than 2 months. Weeks later, he said the regional manager said they can’t comp them so I’m out of luck. I pushed back and he said he’d ask again and then called back and said they could comp 1 service. I said ok and they sprayed and gave me the wrong paperwork, so it looked like they had sprayed the old product again and I had to once again spend more time on the phone. Also, the manager told me that he would be the one to come out for this service since I had dealt with so many issues and still had questions about whether my yard needed grass seed, how we should proceed, etc. but he was not the one to come out. After everything, I was still extremely disappointed at my entire experience and the fact that the company didn’t want to make it right and continued to not try to do all they could to resolve my situation. So I called to cancel, which was a whole 25 minute ordeal in itself of being questioned, then transferred, repeating the situation, and then having to repeat over and over that I wanted to cancel until it was finally accepted. So frustrating and disappointing and I would recommend looking elsewhere for lawn service.

Have had a great experience with PestBear so far! Been with them for about 6 months now. What made me most happy was when I had questions about my lawn, they sent over one of their highly experienced technicians (Jeff Martin), who was able to answer all my questions as well as give me great advice on the things missing for my lawn to fully thrive. This sort of attention and care is what I appreciate from companies.

They are not worth your money, please don’t waste your money on them. I had used them for 6 months and was not intending to renew with them, they had just come without informing and sprayed when I was not there, my daughter had let them in, and they charged me 140 dollars for it. I asked a refund, and they said we already did the service and cannot refund. Don’t get caught to these scrupulous people.
