This business ghosted me. We had an appointment, confirmed by text, but the guy (I think he was the owner) never showed. He never called to cancel and when I reached out asking about another appointment I received no text or callback – just silence. The woman who works the phone was very nice while booking but non-responsive when I followed up. Very unprofessional all around.

I was concerned i might have a rat problem and had Ratman Pest and Termite Control out to inspect and offer solutions. Gilbert came the next day and was clear both that I had a significant infestation in the crawl space throughout the underside of my house and that the remedy did not require the much more costly “rat slab” concrete fill suggested by several other companies. We had multiple points of entry and Gilbert recommended sealing them securely with trenching using galvanized mesh and stakes, and then monitoring with traps and frequent inspections. We went with his recommendation, and have been thrilled with the work and results. Andres did a spectacular job of sealing all entry points and then repairing some duct and insulation damage that the rats had caused. Following a thorough cleanup, the space is rat free with plans to continue to monitoring regularly. Ratman provides a year warranty, so we anticipate based on other reviews that Gilbert will be responsive if needed should we see any evidence of further problems. He was true to his word that what he suggested was what was needed to remedy the problem and to best ensure against problems in the future. Much thanks and appreciation for the excellent work.

I give the Ratman and his team 5 stars for professionalism, value, and customer service. In March the Ratman himself came to my home promptly responding to my urgent call about “sounds behind the wall (yikes!)” He did an inspection and then coordinated with Olivia, the superb scheduler, to set his return for the exclusion and trap setting. On the return visit he crawled under my house and identified several possible points of entry as well as some abandoned tunnels from moles which he blocked using metal. He reinforced some other areas to make them even better resistant to rodent entry. I thought the price was on the high side for 3 hours of work but now in June I have come to understand the value I received because the Ratman honors his one year warranty like nobody’s business! The sound of a rat over the kitchen ceiling prompted me to call Olivia this morning. She remembered me and immediately sent Javier over to assess the situation within 3 hours! Javier was thorough, patient, and super friendly. He found a new entry point and sealed it both from the outside and also from the underside of the house! He then inspected 3 other areas of possible entry using a two story ladder and found that all of those were tight. Finally he placed some additional baited traps in the attic. I made the correct decision to hire the Ratman team in March and now I have a dedicated partner I can depend upon to protect my home against those rats!

We put in a request with our landlord late at night after hearing a lot of scratching and banging for a couple days in or near the walls. Gil came right away the next morning, quickly found the nook where rats and possums had been gnawing at the house and spread some deterrent… haven’t heard a peep since. Great and speedy service!

Gilbert from Ratman was very supportive and experienced in getting rid of bedbugs and assured us he could support with any sightings of other rodents or rats as well. He was very communicative and made sure to continue following up to clarify any outstanding questions and check if further treatment was needed. I have not experienced any more sightings! I highly recommend his services.

Can’t say enough good things about Gilbert and his team. I initially brought him out to provide a quote on termite activity we saw in our house but also briefly mentioned we were seeing rats here and there. Gilbert did an inspection and provided a competitive and thorough quote which not only addressed our termite issue but actually rodent proofed our house (versus just “setting traps” and “foaming holes”). He ended up finding 6+ tunnels under our foundation/etc. during the rat proofing process and really dug in to close everything up correctly. Highly recommend!
