I am a design consultant that works with Kimberly James. I have had the pleasure of collaborating on many jobs with her and not only is she an incredibly talented artist and a master of her craft, she is one of the most kind, professional and wonderful people to work with. I appreciate her candor and consistency and she really strives to communicate efficiently so that clients feel assuaged and confident in their decisions to transform their space. Kimberly is truly masterful and I believe always exceeds the expectations of the clients we work with. Her metallic ceilings are dreamy and her ability to add texture and the perfect color to a room is notable. In my opinion, no home is complete without her touch. Kimberly is awesome. We have done quite a few projects together both for commercial and residential. Her attention to detail shows in the quality of her work. Kim was wonderful to work with. Her work is impeccable and she created three wonderful spaces in our home with beautiful colors and fun faux looks that is like art on the walls! She also changed our dark fireplace surround and hearth to a fabulous bright faux marble! We were happier with the finish projects than we expected!

I have known Kim for almost 14 years and have had her do quite a few projects at our home in that time . She has always been a pleasure to work with and always a professional . Kim is very conscientious, always on time and completes the work in a timely manner without delays , etc. She has been reliable and consistent with every project we’ve had her do. We had the pleasure to meet and work with Kim James with Lucky Star Faux Finishes in August 2019. After seeing portfolio sample boards we were quite impressed and decided to hire her. GREAT decision. . .She did a fabulous job on our tray ceiling in our master bedroom with feather marbling and color washing in our kitchen. If you have been looking to change a few areas in your home and don’t want to get into a lot of money, time, or construction look no further. Kim, of Lucky Stars Faux Finishes, has faux painted my fireplace (black area around insert) and the kitchen back splash (saving me money, time, and reconstruction). She gave me ideas, estimates, set an established time to do the work, and all was done to perfection. We are very happy with the results. Friends coming into the house cannot believe it is a faux finish. Kim is a talented professional artist and produces results that I highly recommend. Try her out today.
