Steamboat Stoneworks 5 years agoSteamboat Stoneworks is absolutely PHENOMENAL!! We contracted Steamboat Stoneworks to do our all our stone counter top work on our new house we were building in 2015. The end result was beautiful and showed superior craftsmanship. It is now 4 years later and my wife noticed that a seam in the counter top in the kitchen had separated slightly from the house settling and the grout was crumbling slightly. She sent me down to their office to see if we could purchase some grout and get some advise on how to fix it. I spoke with Troy the owner and he asked when we had it build, what we had done, and where it was located. He remembered the job and said he would come out personally and fix it. When he came out, he brought one of his men with him and they worked on the counter top for a little over an hour. He did a beautiful job re-leveling the count top and filling in the seam. We asked how much we owed him and he said: “YOU DON’T OWE US ANYTHING!! It’s still under warranty and you’re good to go!” Our hats off to Troy and his team at Steamboat Stoneworks. Honest craftsmen who stand behind their work.

Spartan Construction, LLC 2 months agoWe totally recommend Spartan Construction for any of your construction / building needs. Five stars is not enough. We have built 5 other projects and most of those builders were good, at least 1 was terrible, but none of them compare to Jeff Connett and the Spartan Construction team. Our 6 and 7th projects were built by Jeff over the last 5 years. First Jeff built a 3300 square foot garage / workshop for us in 2018 and then built our 6500 square foot retirement home in 2020-2021. What Jeff and Spartan Construction brings to the building process that no other builder has is “Jeff Connett”. He is impeccably honest, innovative, creative, hard working and on the job every day. Jeff worked very closely with us and the architect to make suggestions and solve problems that inevitably come up. He was just awesome at this. Another advantage Jeff has is he owns all his equipment that can help control productivity, cost and downtime. Jeff and his team can do it all, while they do sub out some specialty work like electrical and plumping, they have the ability to jump in and do what’s necessary. A couple examples on our job was when a concrete contractor couldn’t make the deadline for a concrete pour, Jeff and his team did it them selves. Another example was when we were doing landscaping and our own landscaping company was falling behind laying sod, his entire team stopped what they were doing, jumped in and helped lay the sod. Again we totally recommend Jeff and his team. You will not find another builder that will be as honest and innovative as Jeff Connett and Spartan Construction. Soda Mountain Construction + Design 3 months agoThe Yampa River Botanic Park worked with Chris Imbler and the team at SMCD to install new entrances and fencing. The project from start to finish with this team was collaborative, transparent, and for the most part, on budget! We highly recommend them for anyone who desires quality work from a fantastic team who cares.
