This is the 2nd house that I have hired Raul to paint the entire interior. His crew does wonderful work. They clean up after themselves, daily. I couldn’t be more happy with the work. I highly recommend New Generation.

I had a small and difficult job to remove mildew and repaint eave facia board on the top floor of our fairly new two story home. I contacted New Generation Painting, hoping they would even bid the job. Raul (owner) came out the very next day and gave me bid on the spot, which I thought was very reasonable. It took awhile to get the work done, due to their busy schedule (would be concerned if they could have come immediately), but when they were done it looked better than when it was new. Raul knew exactly what to do to remove the mildew and what paint, and how many coats to apply to stop it from returning. His two man crew that performed the work (Gabriel and Javier) did an awesome job. Very conscientious, very detailed (even fixed things that the builder should have done but didn’t), communicative and friendly. When they were done and gone you wouldn’t have even known that they had been there. Raul came back by two days later to make sure I was happy with the job. I am 100% happy with the job and with Raul and his crew. Will use them again when needed and highly recommend them.

Crew was fast and efficient while working and left job site very clean. When job began, we had expressed some concerns on the level of prep work being done versus what we had discussed with Raul when he bid the job. Crew was made aware and began doing what we had assumed was the correct work. Final walk everything looked good but it took about a month for all patch work and caulk to begin splitting and falling apart, with areas of paint bubbling off of the facia as well. These are just the areas of the house we can easily see and worry the work on our second story is even more inferior in quality. It took a couple calls before we could get Raul out to actually look at our issues. He came out with a couple guys, told us it would be a two day job and we heard him specifically inform the workers to not paint over wet bondo work or caulk. The workers were done by 3:00 that day with paint applied over all wet/fresh caulk and patch work, with no mention of returning the following day. It took 2 days for these “fixes” to fail, as well as only leaving us with one thin coat of paint in numerous areas on our house making it look worse than before. We have called Raul about these issues and continue having issues reaching him/not receiving a call back as more and more paint fails 2 months post project due to poor paint prep. We’re not sure what the resolve is at this point but we recommend anyone to look into other options for a paint company able to properly prep a house for paint as New Generations has shown us twice that is beyond their scope of expertise. For your paint work, hope that Raul’s crew gets it done right the first time and there’s minimal paint prep work required or you’re SOL. Beware.

New Generation Painting has been painting my houses for more than 6 years. I buy several houses each year as an investor. Quality of work and service can’t be beat. Raul and his crew did a quick quality job on my rental. Even fixed some problem areas so they no longer can bee seen! Raul is very customer friendly and responsive. It is a pleasure to deal with a business owner and not a rep or a salesman. I’m a retired contractor who started as a professional painter.
