I am pleased with the work completed by The Proud Paintbrush. I received my quote quickly, any concerns were addressed and the job was completed in a timely manner. We are remodeling our home studio. The textured walls and the doors had been covered with foam acoustic panels, attached with liquid nails. There was extensive damage that required sanding, spackling, more sanding, priming and painting. The main door had to be replaced. The new door slab had to be painted and hung. Chris came to give us a bid. We thoroughly discussed what we wanted done. Chris listened and was able to repeat every detail, asking key clarifying questions about the project. He was able to translate that discussion into an itemized list of what would be done and what wouldn’t be done (I.e. we weren’t having them paint the closet nor the ceiling) into a formal quote. We knew in advance how much time and material the project would take. We agreed, signed off on the bid and put down a modest good-faith deposit with a date for the job. Fortunately, several days earlier, an opening came up in the schedule. Chris called and we were able to get the job done sooner. On project day, Freddy worked hard all day. Other than his lunch break, he was in the studio all day. Chris was there to make sure the job started on time. He personally covered the floors and our work desk completely before handing the job off to Freddy. Even though he wasn’t there, Chris texted us progress reports throughout the day. Freddy’s attention to detail is spot on. He spent extra time and effort to ensure the new door, which he hung, closed properly, painting it to perfection. Freddy is polite, quiet, conscientious, hard-working, and highly skilled. He cleaned up every last bit of dust, dirt, plastic, paper, and tape. He was on his hands and knees using a dry brush to get every last spec of dust out of all edges of the baseboards. He carried off all trash, left us the few leftover materials, and walked us through the job to make sure we were happy. We are ecstatic at the result. Thank you Freddy! And thank you Chris. Highly recommend The Proud Paintbrush after they did a great job applying the lime wash to our brick home. From the start, Chris provided prompt, professional and informative communications, as he showed up the next day to personally review the job and gave an estimate total price that beat almost every other vendor. Chris personally showed up with his crew on the day of the job, his crew was able to take care of a last minute paint job request and he continuously checked to make sure we were happy with the work, including the final walk through before his crew departed. The entire process was very easy, professional and worry free. We are very happy with the lime wash job that The Proud Paintbrush provided and will likely call them again.

Leo was our project manager and we could not be happier with our home. They were efficient and although we were picky they were very friendly! He kept us updated on each step and did a thorough clean up. We will use them again.
