Southern Painting performed various interior sheetrock repairs and painting and re-stained a portion of the exterior of our Far North Dallas home last week. They were very professional and courteous, executed the work on schedule quickly and efficiently. They took care of moving and protecting furniture and finishes from dust, paint, etc. and cleaned up everything when done; we are very happy with their services and the results. Miguel, their project manager, was knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We’ve utilized their services on several previous popcorn ceiling removal, sheetrock repair and interior and exterior painting projects over 25 years and already have a future project lined up with them. We definitely recommend Southern Painting.

I’m not one to write a bad review but I’m still frustrated. I had my house painted about a year ago and I am still disappointed in the overall job. Everyone was very nice but the prep work that was done was very bad. I had NO FURNITURE in the house which should have made prep VERY easy. However, there were paint splatters everywhere that I am still scraping/cleaning a year later. On my original wood floors too!! All that needed to be done was protect the floor, lights and handles and that was not done (see pictures). I’m so thankful I didn’t have furniture in the house or I think it would have been destroyed. I had them back out for touch ups and don’t feel like they did what I asked, so I eventually gave up. Nice people but would not recommend due to all the clean up I have had to do and how much I paid.

They are not a reliable and trutworthy company. The job they did at my house wasn’t done professionally. JJ the manager of the company assured me the warranty that will help if I see any concerning areas. Calling them for almost a year to fix the problem under the warranty which never happened. I am so annoyed that I wasted a thousand of dollars in this project. Y the warranty. The manager never called, I am just very concerned about this at the money I paid for all this went into wast.

They repainted the exterior of our house and did an amazing job! Very professional from becoming to end and very reasonably priced. JJ was in constant communication and very responsive. Their process is thorough and their hard work shows! On the last day they completely cleaned up and replaced everything they had moved, leaving us with the best looking house on the block. We would highly recommend them! (pictures are before & after)

I was very impressed first of all by the assessment of how much it would cost. Alan measured and assessed job time with my 20 foot ceilings. The crew made certain that my hard to handle belongings were back in place. I was very impressed at their exact painting next to white enamel trim! No mess no fuss! 1 1/2 days and my job for them was completed. I am over 70 and will hire them again!
