Amazing finish! Very professional work. Ben was able to develop a design that was perfect. Was very flexible and working with me for color choices and opinions. Found some minor frame issues that he was able to repair all in timely order. This is highly professional work. I can’t imagine being able to get a better finish anywhere.

Good luck getting a response from these guys. I filled out the form on the site, gave a detailed explanation of what was needed and provided a direct link to the parts I was needing painted. Someone got back a few days later asking for more details (huh?) and when I responded with the links again and photos they just disappeared. If you love wasting time, I highly recommend Black Magic Paint.

I worked with Ben from Black Magic Paint to help design my dream gravel bike. At first, I planned on just having them paint the frame and I was going to build it my self. However, Ben let me know that they were able to order all the parts I had in mind and build the bike for me. I’m super glad I went that route because they did an excellent job. They even used a special bike delivery service where it was dropped off at my doorstep fully assembled and ready to ride. Regrading the paint job. I threw a lot of ideas at them and didn’t totally know what I wanted. What they came up with was way better than I had imagined. Ben even showed me a rough design so I could provide feedback before they started. The whole process was easy and I could tell that Ben had a great understanding on what I was looking for overall. I great experience and will be using them again for future bikes!

Ben and his team at Black Magic Paint are amazing at what they do! I am a repeat customer and I’ve had them perform several projects for me. One project in particular was a damaged and dented steel frame. I asked them to repair the dent and paint only the portion of the frame that was damaged. They did such a good job that I had to return to the original pictures of the damage to identify the side of the frame that originally had the damage. I have several more projects lined up for them to do for me soon. They are the best in the business, as evidenced by the many awards they have received over the years.

Ben and the team did a great custom paint job on an Open Mind bike frame for me. They were really easy to work with responsive and delivered on time. More importantly the paint job, a metallic British Racing Green, was absolutely amazing. I always get compliments from other riders out on the road on the finish! Could not be happier and would highly recommend them to anyone needing bike work done!

I’ve used Black Magic for two custom finishes on two different bikes. Blsck Magic provided excellent service… both frames resulted in subtle stunning rides.
