We just had our house in the historic district painted by Bob’s crew and I am super pleased. Despite some aging siding boards and trim, they did a beautiful job. We had them replace the old metal corner trim with vertical boards for an updated look and Eric the carpenter was so meticulous and precise! As I went over things with Ian, the head painter, he asked great questions and made good suggestions. I pointed out that I was very picky about keeping my foundation plantings in good shape and they certainly respected that. Not a hosta nor spirea was trampled in any way. We highly recommend Nickelson Painting!

We had Nickerson come fix cracks in our ceilings and a few that went down a wall. They did a good job of covering stuff. 2 out of the 3 areas were done good. But our kitchen ceiling was not up to my standards. They only painted around some of the light fixtures and didn’t paint all the way to where the wall meets the ceiling. We now have bubbles in the ceiling where there were never bubbles before. They left spackle on the walls and one day when I came home my front door was wide open and no one was there. They came back about 20 minutes later (I came home for lunch but they didn’t know that) but they left my house wide open. I would not hire them again as I was disappointed with the quality of the work.

Had the main level and 2nd floor painted on the interior. They also had resources to install new shutters to match the new painted door. Staffed the job so the was complete in a week. Great team and service through out the entire project, highly recommended.

Mark and Isaac did outstanding work for us in removing our popcorn ceiling texture and repainting. It was a difficult job, but we are pleased with the results!

Called Nickelson painting to refinish my doors and trim on the door also window sills. They came out and looked at what needed to done and I received an estimate very quickly. They did an awesome job. Very polite and respectful.

We had a lot of trouble finding someone to redo our concrete steps. Someone recommended Doug. He was so professional and did the job above our expectations. We would definitely recommend him for any job you would need!!!

I’m a local Entrepreneur owning, managing and working with Real Estate in the Rochester, MN area for over (20) Years. I reached out to Bob Nickelson, Owner of Nickelson Painting, because I was having issues with my current painting contractor(s). Bob graciously and immediately took the time to come out to the job-site, review the current status of the project and offer solutions with his painting team that would cut the time to finish the project into 1/4 – 1/3rd of what was originally forecasted. With Bob’s team members having 20-30 years+ of Residential & Commercial Painting Experience, I knew Nickelson Painting would be the best fit for finishing the Project. We hired Nickelson to remove a foot of the brick from the front of our house and re-set a different sill plate. Doug went above and beyond giving us options and colors to stain the stone sill plate. He was very careful working close to the house to avoid damaging the landscaping. The brickwork gives our house an updated look. We just love it! Great job!

Guy out driving one of the company vehicles on Christmas Eve day was driving recklessly speeding rode my bumper and then had the audacity to flip me off when he was pulling into the rec center. This is the group of people you employ or run your company. I’ll make sure to pass along to everyone never to use you pathetic
