I hired this company to do exterior paint on my home bc the price was the best of 3 quotes. It was a very large and expensive job and I knew their business model was to hire cheap sub contractors who would take less $$ so my expectations weren’t high knowing their price but I took the chance. I now regret that and hope to save you the trouble. Their price difference isn’t worth the potential savings…it’s just lie after lie after lie. I wish now that I’d listened to the numerous negative reviews I read online because now I have to hire another contractor to clean up their mistakes. The way it works is Justin comes to sell you then you get a low dollar crew who may or may not do the job. I was promised two coats of paint but when neighbors cameras showed only one coat was applied, they came back and did a second. A few wood trim boards were called out by Justin as needing replaced. When the crew came, those were replaced sloppily with the wrong type of trim and it stuck out like a sore thumb (textured replace with smooth boards and calked so much it has holes). I asked them to replace. I was promised additional wood rot would be brought to my attention during the job and it wasn’t. I caught 4 spots that I put my finger thru it was so rotted, instead of telling me they calked and painted rotted spots. Who knows where else it was done that I didn’t catch? Once the job was finally done I was asked to sign off on the work and pay, I noticed that one of my side door trim was ripped clean off from the tape they used during a very hot day. Not in one spot, but all over the door jam, paint and primer was missing and there was exposed to wood. Yet I was still asked to sign off on the work, grade them, and pay them. So yet again, I had to call and ask for this to be repaired. With the number of mistakes I found and called out, I’d hope that some point Justin or someone else would come out and check the work to make sure it was up to their standards. This never happened. I was given a couple extra days to check the work myself of a two-story exterior paint job. They were not worried about the job that was done and the items that were missed, not disclosed, or things that were just done wrong. If I caught it, they would fix it but now I’m certain there are problems that I didn’t catch and they had zero desire to catch themselves. Even when the mistakes were pointed out, Justin‘s response was, so you want us to redo it? Justin didn’t warn me I needed to have payment ready on the last day of the job so I don’t transfer the money until the job was completed and they asked for payment. Justin said no problem, picked up a check and promised to hold it 2 business days while my money arrived. He then deposited it same day. So the bottom line is – don’t hire them thinking there’s even a chance they do a good job. It will probably get done if it’s simple and you’re willing to be the annoying lead manager GC’ing the job but, it won’t be great or even good. DONE is the best you can ask for. If you’re lucky. By the end of a big job, you’ll pay just to be DONE with their lies.

Great experience! The quote was one of the easiest and most thorough quotes we received (And we got estimates from several companies). The painting process was smooth and completed quickly. The painters were very careful about making sure we were happy throughout the whole process. We would definitely recommend them.

Sharper Impressions did an incredible job when exterior painting our house. They were very professional, and made sure to check with me before replacing cracked/rotten siding that was only discovered after the initial quote. The entire job took 2 days.

The Sharper Impressions painters did a very complete, top-notch job on our house. They were pleasant and easy to work with. They took their time to make sure everything was just right and answered all of our questions. They were prompt and courteous enough to call ahead of time to let us know when they were coming. I would definitely use them in the future and recommend them to others.

Seemed to do a good job with exterior painting job. Unlike many jobs I’ve had done, they showed up on time and completed it on time despite it being a small job. Update: My first job was painting of all of the exterior trim work. The following year I had them out to paint all of my Hardi Plank. I showed them how my original paint job (done by the builder) looked bad as it was “streaked”. I was assured this would look better when they were done. Two men came out with brushes and stayed only a single afternoon to do the work. It started raining hard while they were still painting. They went to their truck and waited for the rain to stop, then came back and finished. I told the painters that it seemed to be “streaky” and I was concerned that it had rained WHILE they were painting. They said, no it would be fine. I called the company and they assured me the paint dries so fast it would not be a problem but if I found paint on the mulch below they would come back out. I did not find paint in the mulch but the sides of my house look worse than before I had them paint. (when talking to the paint store they indicated there was no way the paint had dried sufficiently before the rain) The streaks were the only reason I had them paint. I am certain they did not put on two coats as promised as there simply was not time for them to have done that.

Sharper Impressions did a terrific job painting our house. They were organized, on-time, and very communicative with us, even when weather interrupted their work. Their crew left little evidence they were ever there, save for the new paint on the house.
