Revive 360 Renovations a month ago

Hired to mud, sand, paint living room. Left them to work while I was out of town. Returned 2 days after competition to find my door unlocked and all of the lights on. There was an issue with the primer where it didn’t adhere and bubbled up, however they proceeded to paint over it anyway. They came back out and sanded off the issues on 2 walls, and applied primer again. Despite it bubbling again, they proceeded to paint over it again. We went back and forth on what the cause of the issue was. This review is NOT based on there being an issue with the primer. It is based on the incompetence of painting over bad primer. Note: I supplied the paint so I was out all of that money. They also did not adequately sand the walls, leaving rough areas and issues in the corners. And they did not work on the baseboard included in the quote. Overall I paid $950 of the $1050 they quoted and still have to hire someone else.

I will not be returning to Punchlist as a customer due to my recent experience with them. I am a returning customer, I contracted with them 3 years ago and everything went smoothly. So, I thought that when signing a contract for a 2-week project in Sept 2023, that I expect the same experience. Not true. The project managers at this company are the entire reason for the 1-star review. The work we had completed was solid and enjoyed our experiences with the 3rd party contractors who worked on our condo. But the reason we signed a contract with Punchlist was to have a company manage the process of multiple work elements coming together. The customer shouldn’t have to do as much work, if not more, than their project manager, but that was the case here. They fail to do basic elements of their job like completing change orders on time, informing you of when workers show up, starting project on set date, or staying on top of project status. Issues with our project • Paid deposit in Sept 2023, project manager could not figure out a start date through Oct 2023 which resulted in them pushing into 2024 due to upcoming holiday season • Numerous contractor no shows where the project managers NEVER reached out to inform us as we sat at home waiting for the contractors to show up. Had to reach out to find out they were not coming on the day stipulated by Punchlist • Job estimated to take 2 weeks ended up taking 6 weeks due to project manager missteps • Failed to submit change form for stone slab in 2023 and tried to get us to pay difference in stone class despite being in Class C at time of signing contract • Project delayed by a full week because project manager failed to confirm stone choice with 3rd party countertop installer, resulting in the installer cutting the wrong stone, bringing it to our condo and us being without a countertop for a week • Project manager told us tile installation would only take a day. Installer had to inform us that it was a two-day process • Through the entire process not either of the project managers came out to confirm the quality of work their 3rd party contracts performed • Multiple miss communications to 3rd party contracts for project materials and start dates • Failed to communicate the proper materials to the tile installer, resulting in them pausing work to fetch materials they could have grabbed earlier Spoke to the owner about these issues and he didn’t care how much his project managers messed up. He put the blame on the 3rd party contractors they hired to do the work. From this experience I would have just hired the 3rd party contractors myself as it would have saved me time, money and stress.

Premier Remodeling renovated our kitchen. They did everything so thoroughly and beautifully! Ronne was great to work with on this project! We were out of town the entire time and he sent Photos and videos every step along the way. Attention to detail throughout! The kitchen is gorgeous and the entire experience Was fantastic! MW projects recently finished our basement renovation and we truly could not have been happier with how it turned out. The entire experience from first meeting to the final touches was so good. Patrycja & Filip are a dream team when it comes to design, creative problem solving and true craftsmanship. They took our brick, early 1900s basement and turned it into a true oasis / 2nd living space. Patrycja has incredible vision for crafting unique and custom spaces and best of the best project management skills. Filip has the skill to make all the dreams come to life, plus his amazing crew – Karel in particular, but really any one of his crew or subcontractors. It wasn’t the cheapest quote, but also wasn’t the most expensive, and I’m eternally thankful for our friends who recommended them. I’ve seen a few other projects that they’ve done for friends and they are impeccable. I’m attaching some photos but afraid it doesn’t even come close to doing it justice. I should also mention I was 8 months pregnant and living through this not well timed reno heavily pregnant and then again with a newborn and they were SO clean and extra conscious of the noise, dust, timeline due to that. It could have been a nightmare and, honestly, most days I didn’t even know they were working downstairs. Easy to work with, trustworthy, dependable and meticulous. I couldn’t recommend enough.

We added a double garage as a house addition Morton Grove. It looks like it’s always been there! The contractors did an excellent job, and no more snowy cars for us.

Delta remodeled our main floor bathroom for us. It was a full gut rehab and I couldn’t be happier. They were so communicative from start to finish and fairly priced. The contractor team was so fast, efficient and tidy. The project was completed well ahead of my cynical estimate (3 months) and right on time with Kasia’s initial estimate, 5-6 weeks.
