When the previous homeowner did a terrible if not tragic job on painting ALL the cabinets in the home, it came to really 3 options on how to overcome this. One, replace all the builder grade cabinets. Two, live with it and repair over time (worst, most expensive and time consuming option) or three: hire a professional who knows best. Sharp Cabinet Painting does exactly this!! Rob is fantastic, efficient and offered solutions that transformed my kitchen and bathrooms to make them look new again. From start to finish, all work was quick, clean and worth every penny (and also a fraction of the cost of replacement)!! VERY HAPPY!!!

Full Disclosure, Rob is my neighbor! We live in a subdivision where all of the houses have the same countertops, same backsplash, and same color cabinets. After two years we decided to do some reno to the kitchen. We chose a white quartz with gray veining, a pretty bold tile backsplash, and wanted to tone it down with a different color on our island. Rob’s process and tools to accomplish this task are varied, with some old school and some new school techniques. First off, prep is paramount to success. These are old school practices of cleaning the cabinets, scuffing all the surfaces, fixing any loose trim, removing doors and fronts, taping everything, and prepping the cabinets with primer. The new school process is the paint schedule Rob uses. The paint is a catalyzed paint, and cures to a rock hard and impervious surface. It is truly fascinating to see the quality and toughness of the paint schedule used. We look forward to enjoying the changes we have made for years to come, and appreciate the top notch work Rob has done on our island.
