Wife and I used Jonathan Painting to paint the entire interior of the house after we installed all new trim and interior doors. We’ve used many painters over the years, but hands down are so happy to have found Jonathan Painting – they did an incredible job to say the least. There were A LOT of nail holes and we can’t see a single one, not to mention all the cracks and nail pops they had to fix on the ceilings and walls. Their attention to detail is perfect, and the crew would touch base throughout the project asking if we saw anything that needed fixing, to just let them know. They take pride in their work and wanted to make sure we were 100% happy. We highly recommend them and will use them again in a heartbeat!

Multiple problems when Jonathan painted my house. He only did one coat (not 2 coats as promised, so previous color bled through), flashings were incorrectly installed resulting in water damage, etc. But as a contractor myself, I understand problems can occur. But what is not understandable is that Jonathan just ghosted my email requests for him to rectify. He initially would say he was coming by to fix, but then not show up. And then he simply stopped responding to all messages, both phone and email.

I strongly recommend NOT hiring Jonathan painting. He failed to complete the work on our exterior trim and the work that was done is sloppy. They failed to prep the wood properly, including sanding, priming, caulking, and failed to even paint portions of the trim in several areas. He disappeared after I communicated my concerns (even left a couple of ladders) and won’t respond to calls or messages. I’m now forced to either finish/fix it myself or hire another painter. Terrible experience.

Jonathan’s Painting is an incredible team! They are so detail oriented and did an incredible job painting the outside of our house. It has stayed looked beautiful for 2 years since they did it. They just came back to powerwash, and the house looks impeccable! Couldn’t recommend more highly!!! Will have them back to do interior updates next year.

Jonathan and his team are absolute pros. They painted the entire downstairs of our new home (4 rooms) in just over 2 days. Jonathan was helpful and quick to communicate. He cared about us being happy with the job. We even threw him a curveball and asked for a complicated upstairs wall to be painted and Jonathan got it done.

Jonathan Painting recently completed a full exterior paint job of my home in New Canaan. I would very highly recommend him & his team. They were very reasonably priced relative to the other quotes I received. More importantly, their quality was exceptional. He showed up with a large crew and it was meticulous in his prep work, repairing any rotted wood, and ultimately in the painting. I watched his people throughout the week and they approach with an owner’s mindset. They worked hard from beginning to end leaving the house cleaner at the end of each day than it was when they got there. I truly can’t say enough good things about their work. He will absolutely be my go-to painting outlet from now on.

I used this painter a couple of years ago because of a recommendation from a interior decorator and two years later I have to repaint all my interior trim because they never primed it and slapped latex paint on top of oil..they also ruined my foyer wood floors after removing wallpaper and not cleaning up the water that landed on my floors…the whole job was beyond sub par…it maddens me that I have to have my whole interior house repainted because of their negligence and spent thousands on repairing my wood floors..also they never reattached my washing machine water hose after painting behind it..water ran into the basement…I have never dealt with a more negligent company who charges a fortune and doesn’t do the appropriate prep work…extremely disappointed ex client..

Jonathan and his team were incredibly professional. They painted an extensive amount of work in our home while we were away. Jonathan was communicative and courteous throughout the whole process. He consistently asks if everything looks the way we wanted. The quality of the painting is incredibly high. Jonathan also had a team to replace hardware on cabinets as well as backsplash in the kitchen in addition to wallpaper hanging in a few spots. We would definitely recommend this company! 🙂
