Apex Tree Service did an excellent job trimming two aspens, and removing two small volunteer trees from my mother’s back yard. Jason was professional and courteous, listened to our needs and provided a clear and fair quote. His team arrived on time the day of the appointment, and did an quick and precise job, cleaning up all remaining debris. I highly recommend this company.

During the January 2024 ice storm in Portland, our giant red oak fell across a major street, crushed 3 cars and damaged 2 houses, leaving a street full of wood and a 10′ diameter root ball for us to deal with. I called 20+ arborists and tree movers, and nobody was willing to remove the root ball or move the salvageable logs intact due to size/weight and the difficult-to-access location of the stump. Kyle at Apex was the only one I spoke to who immediately started trying to solve the issue. He helped me deal with insurance, planned out the entire job with only a few day’s notice, and was able to get a 12 ton crane to lift out the root ball in one piece, saving a huge amount of time and cleanup. Kyle also helped us salvage as much usable wood as possible, separating lumber and firewood rounds. He coordinated with a local sawmill of my choice and helped us transport several beautiful logs weighing over 10,000 lbs each. Kyle’s crew was incredibly efficient, friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help us, and I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to Kyle again about any big tree-related jobs.

Great folks to work with, very knowledgeable and transparent. Could have gotten into me for treating trees that were to far gone but educated me instead. Not the least expensive but competitive. Integrity and great attitude are worth paying for.

Kyle and his team at Apex earned five stars for the work they did on our property. He went above and beyond to meet our expectations and to make it as cost efficient as possible. They cleared around 25 large fir trees off our property including 11 that were really close to our house. He organized getting the lumber sold to the local mill. They were professional, communicated well, and delivered outstanding work. They will always be my first call for tree work. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Apex Tree Service came out to cut some trees on our property yesterday & I cannot recommend them enough. Kyle previously had came out and provided a walk through to let us know what trees we should remove immediately, he gave us a quote & a date he could do the work. He was great at communicating. Him & his team were quick & efficient at our house. Cannot have had a better experience! 10/10 recommend Apex Tree Service. Thanks again Kyle & team!
