I’ve been ordering firewood from Sullivan Tree Service for years and have always had a good experience. I just ordered firewood in June 2024 and for the first time I had a small service issue. I reported the issue and it was resolved on the same day I reported it. I never expected that but now feel more comfortable than ever for ordering firewood from Sullivan. The price is reasonable and they have always delivered on the date they indicated. Charlie E in Westerville

Ordered firewood for the season. I’d say a good half was wet!! The bundles I got from Kroger burn better than this stuff. After I called, they said they would bring out more wood to me. It’s been about a month and still haven’t received it. Never buy wood from here

Firewood is not seasoned, but recently-cut, moisture-filled, and hard to burn – not to mention causes dangerous creosote build-up.

Updated: Improved experience second time around. I ordered half a cord of “seasoned” wood online (paid up front) and immediately received a response stating scheduling was occurring. After 2 weeks of no update, I replied asking for one, or a refund. I did not receive a response, but that afternoon a less-than-enthused guy showed up with a pick up full of wood. Every last piece was soaked through, some of it, clearly still green, and not burnable. 2 weeks later- one response from company was to “give it a week.” Another response was that of course it would be replaced and I’m still here with the same wood that still doesn’t burn right.

Welp, that was supremely disappointing. None of the wood was seasoned. None of it. I guess it’s a good thing I don’t want to have a fire this winter….. Seriously, remove the word “seasoned” from your description of the firewood. Now i get to season it myself, yay! Don’t use these guys. All the poor reviews are correct.

This company is borderline fraudulent. We ordered wood for a family member and they received about a 1/3 of a standard cord. After calling to request reconciliation, the company delivered about 1/3 more, still falling short of what we ordered and paid for. The wood is NOT SEASONED (as mentioned in other reviews) and a quarter of the lot were pieces about the size of a small salad plate. However, the delivery team was nice and cordial. The reviews left here are accurate (we should have read them before using Sullivan Tree Service) and reflect the poor quality and ethical practices of this business. Needless to say, we do not recommend nor will be using Sullivan Tree Service. Completely unethical business practices. There are plenty of better services from which to choose.

Do not get firewood here. Should have read the reviews. NOT SEASONED. STILL SMELLS LIKE SAP. Won’t burn for a year. Year over year the same comments. These guys don’t know what seasoned firewood is. Awful.
