Straight Cut Services LLC 2 years agoMy contracted $5,871 Landscaping job was proposed to take 1 week but was never completed. After 42 days of broken promises, I terminated the contract. I paid $2936 up front. The owner Kurt Phiffer, consistently did not show up to perform contracted work or deliver contracted trees or seed my lawn. When two workers would show up, they were unsupervised, performed sloppy work and usually ended up lounging on my lawn for hours until being picked up. I have pictures. Mr. Phiffer sub-contracted the irrigation work to Bradley Parker. Bradley did some decent work at first but the irrigation system did not perform sufficiently. I ended up paying Bradley $900 more to get it to perform acceptable. Unfortunately, Bradley took the cash before we did a promised walk through. Bradley left the irrigation system with two zones interconnected. I had to find the interconnection and fix it myself. Both Phiffer and Parker blocked my phone number would not return calls or text messages. A visit to Phiffer business address was his home. No one responded to my knocking. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Phiffer performed as expected by not responding to the BBB inquiries. I sent a letter to Phiffer requesting, as per contract, an accounting of the cost of the small amount of work he did do for the terminated contract. I gave him a month to respond. Again no response. There is no doubt he did not perform $2936 worth of work. He owes me a substantial amount of money plus the pain and suffering in dealing with his very unprofessional business practices. Don’t make a mistake and contract with this man or his sidekick Parker.

After experiencing a terrible house fire a few years ago, bad luck went to worse when we hired a restoration company that unfortunately left our home in an even bigger mess. Kyle and his incredible team came in and rebuilt our custom home to be even better than it was before the fire! As someone who has a passion for design and decor, our project manager and team at NDB worked closely with me every step of the way to make my dreams come to life! If you’re on the fence between Nicholas and other companies, go with Nicholas! Their work is impeccable and we are thrilled to be back in our beautiful home, thanks to them!
