Samuel did an outstanding job restoring our century old walnut grove. He worked with us on the initial consultation to clarify our goals and map out a plan to achieve them. He is a certified arborist and used his skill set to identify the invasive trees and shrubs and remove them from the identified area. He worked to preserve the walnuts that were still viable. His cleanup was impeccable. I highly recommend Custom Tree Works as a local small business with outstanding customer service and a high level of professionalism.

When my business had a tree that needed to be removed my business manager contacted Sam to come out in November 2022. I was impressed enough with the work that he did that later on when I needed to have a tree cut down on my personal property I called Sam. Sam is courteous, friendly, and easy to work with. Having gained years of training and experience at Davey he does the same job without the high price tag. Not only is he knowledgeable as a certified arborist, but he is thorough and conscientious with an attention to detail. He cleaned up my yard as if it were his own. Sam is a man of integrity. After having JULIE come out he informed me that he couldn’t grind the stump as deep or as wide as I wanted him to because there were buried electric lines that were too close to the roots. It simply would not be safe to do so. It is hard choosing a company to do work for you as there are a lot of skilled people out there, but there are few more trustworthy than Sam. Samuel does quality work, and was a man of his word. He was working on a tree in our neighbor’s yard, and my husband asked him to give us an estimate for a job at our house. He gave the estimate and was able to do the job that same day!

Samual does excellent work and he’s a climber! He removed our tree that was in a difficult spot, right by our fence, deck, and patio. No heavy equipment was brought in onto the patio. He actually climbed the tree and trimmed branches and then laid them on the patio for cushion for the large logs. Cleaned up was very precise. Totally recommend him for his outstanding service and also very reasonable price.
