I would not recommend this company. They broke my water main and did not tell me about it until my husband called for a different matter the next day. They guy was like, oh by the way, we ran over your water main and broke it. This cost us $2100 to fix. We asked Davey to pay for it and they refused. We asked them to split the difference and they offered us $700 for it. This issue cost me more than $2100 because the irrigation was down for a few days before we realized it. They said that they legally didn’t have to pay for the damage they caused. I guess that is true, but I figured they would want to do the right thing. So I guess its a gamble if you hire them. Maybe they won’t break anything, but if they do, they may pay for a third of it after you call 3-4 times. That was my experience anyway. This wasn’t the only issue we had with them. The whole job started off poorly. We had other workers at our house and when they Davey crew came in, the crew lead yelled at my electrician to move his truck. My electrician is the nicest guy ever and there was no need to be so rude. After the Davey crew left I went to inspect their work. I noticed that there was trash all over my backyard. There were sprite cans, Fanta cans, and plastic bottles all over the ground. In some cases the crew jammed bottles in between the branches of my citrus trees. I called the crew leader to ask when they were coming back to clean it up and he said that trash already there. I was super shocked by this. I was like, well I am not going to argue with you. So I hung up and took pictures of the debris. He called back and said that he was sorry and that was in fact his crew that did that. I was like, I know. It is just really telling that your first instinct is to deny, deny, deny. They did give me some money off for that and I was satisfied. It wasn’t until the next day that we found out about the water line. So all in all, they were not a good company. The people I encountered were rude and combative.

Watch out for this company they damaged my property denied that they were ever there once I informed them that I had to witness now I’m getting the corporate runaround out of state out of mind they’re not a local company they are a 1.5 billion company that does not care about the damage that they’re responsible for

We had about 1/2 of a large Laurel Oak fall on a corner of our house. A Davey crew was dispatched within 2 hours of our call. The best word I can use to describe the tree removal is “finesse”. Our house is multi story and the guys not only climbed and lifted the tree without additional damage to our roof, they also managed to remove the large branches that had slid down the exterior wall, saving costly additional damage to our siding and saving the window on the lower floor. It is hard to describe the feelings associated with having a tree fall on your house. We appreciate Davey for the exemplary and professional care in which they handled a very distressing situation for us and our home.

The Maitland office staff was very professional and answered all my questions plus set up an appt in a timely manner. The arborist came out for recommendations and was very knowledgeable. Work was completed as expected and the crew was very polite! Highly recommend!

This may easily be the worst tree company I have ever experienced. I did not even hire them, but after they drove through and ruined my yard, they would not take ownership and fix the problem. For your sake please look elsewhere for your tree service needs

I am so mad. OUC contract Davey Tree company to cut back the limbs from the electrical lines. In this case No limbs on or over the electrical line. No common sense to cut a tree. The tree is BUTCHERED up. It’s a MESSED up tree. The tree was round and healthy after being prumed. The tree showing logs no leaves. Just stumps high up in the sky. What was cut had nothing to do with the power lines. I would appreciate Davey come back and just cut the remaining tree to start over. Darlene E Blake amad as heck.

Had an appointment with Ben who didn’t bother to knock the door, completing a back yard appraisal on our trees from the front yard, not sure how that works ?? This appraisal was sent by text without advising what company or who it was. When eventually asked if I wanted to reschedule I get an appointment for the following week ?? After phoning the office half way through the conversation I am transferred to Bens answer machine without communicating this to me first. Very poor customer service and very disappointing that you think this is an acceptable way to treat potential customers!
