The crew showed up on time, did an outstanding job in what seemed like no time at all. I would definitely recommend using JR for anyone that has a need for tree trimming or landscaping.

The team is excellent and do great work. They trimmed my huge Ficus and topped my huge Eucalyptus. JR is very hard to get a hold of and does not return calls. Seems like he does not want smaller jobs. Now I have one Palm tree that needs trimming and a pile of branches to haul away. He does not appear to be interested. If I could get a hold of his crew directly, I bet they would fit it in and be done in about an hour.

We were referred to JR’s Tree Service by our HOA. We had a large jacaranda in our front yard that we needed removed and another tree that needed to be thinned. They did an excellent job removing the large tree and cleaning up the site. However, they hit the irrigation line with the stump grinder and pruned the other tree too severely – to the point where it most likely not recover from the shock. We have been assured multiple times that the irrigation line would be fixed, but after two weeks of broken promises, we were forced to find another company to make the repairs. UPDATE: The owner, James, sent his sprinkler guy out yesterday and fixed the line. James also said that they “don’t normally fix broken sprinklers when we grind stumps because there is no way for us to avoid them when we grind if they are close to or in the stump”.

I’ve used these guys for years. I have a HUGE mesquite tree in my front yard. At least once, sometimes twice a year – I have them come out and have do a “Top, Thin, and Shape”. JR and his team do a great job. I rely on them so I don’t get “fan mail” from City of Phoenix for “growing my tree into their light pole”

I had three trees cut down and the stumps ground out. There was too much for their truck to haul away so they reduced the price with the proviso if the city would pick it up. The city wouldn’t do it so I paid to have it done. The manager said he would take care of it. His cell phone rings busy all day long and the office number says to leave a message but never return a call for three days. I would not ever hire this company again.
