Brett and his staff at Mitchell’s are professional, reliable and extremely responsive to their client’s requests or questions. In addition, they are meticulous about letting you know when they will appear, what work they will be doing and what the charge will be. There is no guesswork. Mitchell’s Lawn Care Service has been very reliable, coming every 2 weeks all during the summer which is what we requested. They have done a good job in keeping our lawn healthy and looking good. They also blow all the leaves off of the yard in the fall. I would certainly give them a good recommendation.

After another company who said they’d do some lawn maintenance for us kept rescheduling or simply not showing up, I reached out to Brett. He came out quickly to gave us an estimate and has done good quality work. He is reliable and does what he says he will – a big deal with service providers these days! Would not hesitate to recommend.

Mitchell’s Lawn Care does an excellent job of grass cutting at a fair price. This is the first year I have used them for leaf collection and removal, and they have been efficient and price effective at that service too. I especially like that owner Brett Mitchell promptly responds to texts and e-mails.

At first he seemed to be a good service provider. He trimmed some tree limbs, shrubs and reseeded my lawn. Unfortunately, after that he abandoned the property and stopped responding to requests for additional work to be done. The shrubs were cut back way too much, and he was aware of how I felt about overcutting due to a problem with another contractor hacking up my shrubs. They were supposed to be a contiguous flat topped line, but instead he took it on himself to trim them into silly little balls. That’s 30+ years of growth set back at least 10 years. I wanted to plant some azaleas in front of them, to offset the bare shrubs, but he has failed to respond to two requests for quotes. The reseeding was okay, I guess, except I don’t know what kind of grass he used, and he left me to figure out what to do next, and how to maintain it. He refused to maintain the yard at any price, even though this is what he does for a living. There was some bizarre issue with my property being “too far” even though his business address is in the same area. Overall, the experience was unprofessional, disruptive and unreliable. Later… The unfortunately belligerent response to my review, along with the two voice mail messages, and resulting blocked number, proves my point. No attempt to resolve any issue. No apology. Just abusive whining when bad performance results in bad reviews.

I was in a bind to get my grass mowed while being out of town (I no longer know teenagers to do it), and Mitchell’s was the only company willing to do it. They were willing to mow my lawn once without committing to a full year contract or a minimum number of mows, unlike other companies. They came when they said they would and did a good job. I even decided to ask them to mow it the week after since my trip was going to be long enough. Thanks!
