He was extremely communicative during every part of the project, ensuring we knew all options for even the smallest detail like the color of the button for the garbage disposal. A great example of how he works with the homeowner came up during the demo phase of the project. We knew there was going to be some major floor repairs needed, which is what drove the need for the renovation, but didn’t expect some of the ceiling repairs. He presented a few options with how extensive the repair can be, and was quick with a quote for the additional work to help us make a good decision. In the end, we decided to replace the ceiling, where he would do the majority of the install, then I would come in behind to texture and paint to help keep the cost reasonable. He helped me understand some the principles of texturing, since that will be new for me, and then let me go at it. If you’re unsure with who you want to work with when investing a ton of money in a new kitchen, James is the person I recommend.

Johnson Construction 5 months agoCalled about wanting to pay him thousands of dollars for septic tank. When discussing what I wanted he got mad and said to look for someone else because he is so busy. Then proceeded to hang up on me. I work daily in construction business and around people everyday and these are the type of unprofessional business people I don’t like to associate with. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Hopefully this warning helps others considering them so you don’t waste your Time.

He is VERY professional both in his attitude and in his dedication to completing his job. This is a professional that takes pride in the quality of their work and you will be MISSING OUT if you do not elect to utilize his services!
