I hired Springfield Gardens to re-do the flower bed in front of my house. I provided my own plants, and part of the job was to remove and eradicate the Monkey Grass that had overtaken the bed. Everything looked great for about 2 weeks, then sprouts of the Monkey Grass started to appear. I called the foreman who had supervised my job, and he said he would come by on a certain day to spray the Grass. He didn’t show up and didn’t notify me he wasn’t coming. I called him again and he scheduled for another day. On that day I didn’t see him at my house, however he texted me late afternoon and said he had come by and sprayed to eradicate the Grass. Two weeks went by and the Monkey Grass was still present. I texted him again, with no reply. Then I called the office and asked to speak to someone above the foreman I had previously talked to. I then spoke to a gentleman and told him my issue. He told me he would talk with another person and “get back with” me. That has been three weeks ago and I have heard nothing. I paid for everything as soon as the job was completed. However, I feel like my job was “too small” for Springfield Gardens to worry with, and that is why I have basically been ignored. As bad as I hate to say this, I cannot recommend Springfield Gardens in good faith, unless you don’t have to worry about them coming back to fix something that has gone wrong.

We had 811 Dig flags and spray paint in our yard for weeks in the fall waiting for our sprinkler system to be put in. Springfield Gardens didn’t come then so we took up the flags and 811 Dig came again in December and the sprinkler system got put in. Our yard was more dug up than expected and there were exposed lines sticking up above ground all winter. They came back April 22 at 5:15 even though they said they’d be here between 3:00-5:00, and the worker acknowledged that it was a poor quality job and a crew would need to come out and do several hours of work. We scheduled them to come out at 8:00am first thing on May 10 so my husband didn’t go into work that morning. The worker was over an hour late without calling to inform my husband. I did reach the office after multiple attempts, and she said the employee was looking for sod. He finally showed up without sod, and no one has brought sod almost two months later. We’ve gone ahead and spent hundreds of dollars for seed and spent countless hours picking up rocks that were left in our yard and patching the bare spots and adding soil around the sprinkler heads that were too high and causing a tripping hazard. Please learn from our mistake and don’t hire them to install an in-ground sprinkler system.

Tony from Springfield Gardens might just be the sweetest human on earth! They came to maintain our grass at 7 Brew on Battlefield and when some of us were taking trash out to the dumpster, he stopped to help us because he saw us struggling to clean up coffee grinds from the ground. Will absolutely be recommending Springfield Gardens because they do quick, quality work, but mostly because of Tony and his generosity!

2 young men from their crew worked especially hard to accomplish my instructions, plus more. I would give them an A++++ Will definitely call them again!

they did a job for me last summer, I paid them and now they will now they will not come back and finish the job or fix things that were broken

Chris was very helpful planning our landscaping. He always returned our calls and replied to our texts… he planted a white pine and several shrubs for us. Also ran drainage pipes under ground from our downspots. Great job!

Springfield Lawn went above and beyond what I expected. I called from out of state to have them decorate my sister’s Springfield house for a last minute idea surprise Christmas present. They immediately went to work purchasing lights & hanging them to perfection. The same day I called. My Sister got home, surprised & delighted! She Loves her Christmas lights. Thank you very much for your prompt, professional Service & Christmas Spirit.

I happen to know Curt who owns Springfield Garden Lawn & Landscape. His guys do a fantastic job mowing my yard. They make sure it looks really good, trim it up nicely and make sure it’s all cleaned up afterwards. If you want a good job, give them a call. They also do a great job with Christmas lighting too. Worth every penny!!

Its the beginning of June and my yard looks completely different than when I first started using them for all my lawn care including fertilizing and mowing. Yard was completely covered in weeds. If your in Springfield, MO area and need someone for mowing fertilizing or landscape I would recommend talking to Springfield Gardens.
