Worst company EVER!!! They miss scheduled appointments all the time and then offer you nothing but another unreliable reschedule. They don’t respect their customers time and plans at all. Absolutely horrible customer service. Nice idea, terrible execution!

Stay away from this app, they will charge you even if your pro no shows and they will no show. 3 different pros no showed and I was charged. Scam app, avoid wasting your time and money with it.

Through my experience attempting to get my lawn mowed once. This company just acts as a middle man to “contractors” who register to do services for them. My first contractor declined the job after I confirmed my property details. Second contractor came out and mowed half of my lawn and threatened to take me to court because I don’t under that “full yard” only means front and that it’s acceptable to stop mowing half way through a strip of grass. Spoke with a third contractor after being reassigned again. Guy knew nothing and then declined the job again after I asked him what day this week he would come. And my fourth contractor has been in route to my house for over 1.5 hours and will not respond. Customer service canceled my account stated they will not charge me. All they are good for is saying sorry and we will find another crew. LawnStarter as a company does not partner with good contractor, and the only reason you will see a five star review from them is because they have an app and that homeowner got lucky with someone actually cares. Avoid this company. It’s a waste of time.

This is the worst company I’ve ever hired. They stole $76.00 from me. My grass was never finished. I called and asked why didn’t they finish? The company stated that they were sent a picture showing my lawn being cut on one part not the back. They assured me that the company would come out and finish my lawn! Here it is 3 weeks later and no one has shown up. Every customer service representative I have spoken with says the same thing, your lawn service said they came out and fixed the issue but they never did! What a joke! If there’s-0 I will first time with them and destroy my lawn he was digging not cutting my grass completely destroyed nothing going to fix it I usually have a very green grass and healthy they kill it my advice don’t even think about that company

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! Starting price was $54 for my front & back lawn, which was a good price. They did only cut the front because they said the grass in back was too long. I was ok with that also, because it was getting long. The next thing I know, they told me it was an additional $170!! My back yard is not even that big! They charged me the original $54 even though they only cut the front for that! I had to agree with that price because I didn’t have any other way to get it done. When I got home that day I went into back yard & I couldn’t believe what I saw! There were 2 big patches of the grass that they just left long, just went around it!! Not only that, was they left every bit of cut grass, at least an inch thick! For the $220 that I paid them, they could have done more. It was a big mess!!

Dont waste your time. They kept changing their ‘pro'(not professional at all, its funny they call themselves pro), but none of them showed up. When I reach out to customer service via email, they just canceled my service. These are about the only things they are good at, canceling your service, canceling the appointment without giving you a proper notice.

literally the scammiest app around (and that’s saying something). provided to recourse for property damage, no guarantee that anyone will actually show up when the app says they will, and then they’ll charge you a long grass fee even though they are the ones who postponed the service. support offers no help at all.

We contracted their service. The first cut they came out and took it upon themselves not to cut the grass. I contacted them and let them know we cut the front as they hadn’t shown up and it was too long. They claimed they would be back the next day and apologized. I contacted them 4 times with no response. Obviously the never came back. This week they gave me a 4 day window to cut. I received an email this morning stating they weren’t coming this week. In each of my previous correspondence I let them know if we had any further issues we would cancel. SERVICE CANCLED.
