Our lawn guy got sick and I thought I would trust Angi’s list. Now I know that Angi’s list is for the companies that NEED budiness bcuz they know they’re NOT any good. I will rate them 1 star only because if the PROMPTNESS due to the urgency of the situation. However, the service was POOR. I’ve had tall grass before and never has the lawn service just left the cut grass clumped up all over the place without blowing the cut grass so that it lays evenly at the finish. That’s what we get for NOT reading the reviews about this company first. STAY AWAY!! A BUSINESS THAT MAKES NOTHING BUT MONEY IS A POOR BUSINESS.

I paid for a lilac Bush and 3 large natural grass plants because we are selling our home and wanted it to look nice. It was early spring and was told that he would put the bushes/grass in when the weather became nicer as there were no mature plants so early in the season. I have emailed and every time there is an excuse or reason as to why they cannot come. The last time they were supposed to come, they simply didn’t show up. No call. No show. Extremely dissatisfied.

I’ve been using Phil’s for 3 seasons now. The work always looks fantastic and I always get great service. I’m so happy to have found them.

Would not recommend they over trim my shrubs to the point where there in distress. I have had to spend 3 times what it cost to trim them. Had to get contract with true green to treat them to try to save them. But get no resolution from the owner other than not there problem.

Called to have service done with this after I moved into my new house, had the representative come to my house to do an estimate afterwards he had me sign a contract. I ask him after he took my card information, if the payment was going to be debited directly from my account, he assured that it was. But my account never was, now they are threatening to take me to court for service that they messed up on. I’ve been in a email battle with their representative “Tiffany” for a while now. They also damaged my front by leaving their weed wackier on my lawn and the gas leak onto my lawn leaving bare spots. They also come when they want. When I had the service, I had to call to find out when they were coming because my grass was growing rapidly, the rep tells me that they were backed up and would get to me as soon as things get settled. I do not recommend you do service with this company they are unorganized and will rip you off!

I feel very fortunate to have found Phil’s Lawn Care service. Phil Thorn and his crew did a better job than any other landscape crew I’ve ever used. Before he was hired, Phil took the time to walk the yard with me for the better part of an hour to be sure he and his workers understood, and would be able to honor, my requests for specific needs. Each member of his crew was knowledgeable about all aspects of garden care and they not only did a fantastic job of cleaning up a yard that had gotten way out of hand but additionally gave valuable maintenance advice to help keep the yard looking the way they had transformed it. They were courteous, respectful, patient with my needs and requests and showed up on time and did everything they said they’d do and more. I will continue to use them and recommend them for reliability, honesty, and excellent results.
