The mowing service has significantly deteriorated after 1 year of using it. I ordered mowing grass biweekly as that was what I believed produced the best result in terms of lawn quality. I had a lot of clippings left on my lawn after the last service(that did not happen during prior services). It seemed that this time the work was done hastily. After I called, they explained that they don’t pick up clippings and they offered to come and pick clippings up for an additional $80/hour service.

The Heartland group and the people that work there are by far the best group I have done business with for our yard and landscaping needs. This includes not just our home but our rental properties as well. When problems or concerns occur, they DO NOT hide from the situation or make vague promises. I have been using Heartland turf for a couple years now. They are always there when they say they will be. They are very easy to work with and receptive to any special needs that I have, unlike the service that I was using in the past. They came and cleaned up leaves and done an excellent job. I highly recommend them.

Class act. Show up on time every week to mow in the summer and do a great job with leaf cleanup in the fall. Leave the grounds clean and neat. Happy with this service that the previous home owner recommended

I wouldn’t mind being billed $406 in one month without my knowledge if my lawn had been beautiful, but instead I got this all over my lawn. No followup, no home visit, no offer to “make it good,” just this and a bill. What happened to “good customer service” as a guiding value of the business? If I could get a home visit and a straight explanation (and a refund!), I’d be a lot more likely to forgive this kind of lawn care.

We hired Heartland for a weekly mow and trim. The office staff was very friendly over the phone and got a crew out to mow our lawn the day I called, which was great. However, the quality of the work done by the crew left much to be desired. They serviced our lawn three times before we had to cancel. Grass clippings were left all over our back fence, patio, and patio furniture and not blown off. Trimming was done hastily. Our neighbors even noticed the poor quality of work. I would recommend seeking other options for lawn care in the area.
