EDIT: LEFT them, the guys just didn’t seem to care how anything looked, their goal was to do it fast as possible and that’s it. The edging in the back was especially poor, taking my grass down to the dirt while other places not edged at all, this was the last straw. I’m done. Ya know it has its ups and downs but they always take care of the problems, Jessica from the office is nothing but a PLEASURE to talk to. She’s absolutely fantastic.

I just had to write to say I am so happy and impressed with the 2-man crew that was at the house yesterday. They tackled the row of Ginger plants on the side of the house, thinning and removing all the dead stuff, and I didn’t even know that this was part of my service agreement. I talked to crew chief and he is the most pleasant worker I’ve had at the house, and both are extremely hard workers. When speaking to him he made me feel that he really cares about providing me the best service possible. Thank you McGuires for hiring quality people, and thank you for providing a total lawn/shrubs/trees package the I believe is the best in the business. Happy Customer, Rich

Some communication issues and dead grass. I aerated the lawn in July (per suggestion)and had a short cut. Afterwards is started to die. I have reached out a few times since then and had no luck getting resolution. Fertilizer was used x2. The manager texted but did not call and I am not sure what the plan is or if I have to resod. Update- I was contacted today (after review) and had someone come out. They have discussed some of the issues and set forth a plan I hope is going to get my grass back. I was promised I would not be left with a yard of dirt and that I will be kept in the loop from here on out. I am optimistic at this point and hope this will turn into a positive story of customer service. I will update with new pictures as the yard is addressed. Update Feb 2024- after continued communication and fertilizer treatments the lawn service came and resodded all the places which needed it. Took some time but I’m happy with the end result.

I am completely disappointed with McGuire’s Lawn Service and feel compelled to share my dreadful experience. After engaging their services for lawn aeration, I encountered a nightmare situation. Not only did McGuire’s fail to deliver satisfactory results, but they also managed to damage my irrigation system in the process. Upon discovering the damage, I immediately contacted McGuire’s to address the issue. To my disbelief, their response was not one of accountability or professionalism, but rather an attempt to shift the blame onto me. They shamelessly claimed that the reason for the damage was due to the irrigation system cable being too shallow. This excuse reeks of negligence and incompetence on their part. What truly disgusts me is their refusal to take responsibility for their actions. Instead of rectifying the situation and honoring their supposed commitment to customer satisfaction, McGuire’s is attempting to evade accountability. As a result of this situation, I have made the decision to terminate any further business dealings with McGuire’s Lawn Service. I refuse to support a company that prioritizes profit over integrity and customer service. I implore anyone considering their services to think twice and explore alternatives. McGuire’s has proven themselves to be unreliable and untrustworthy, and I sincerely hope that others do not have to endure the same disappointing experience that I have.

Hired this company to take care of my rental property and was appalled to see the condition of the lawn when I arrived at the property last week. $185 a month so they can lie to us about using a push mower in the back yard and ripping off the bush limbs with their hands as a way of “trimming the shrubs”. Leaving the side gates open multiple times. The employees must have forgotten that we all have cameras these days and neighbors that report back to us about everything. Wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone, as they left us a bad impression and many of the neighbors. There’s no accountability from this company as it seems they like to blame everything on the homeowner. If I wanted, I could kill my grass for free… I don’t need to pay McGuires $185 a month to do it for me.

Really high prices for the quality of work they do. Have to constantly follow up with them on areas besides mowing and edging. ( they charge more for added yard work)

Our yard looks worse than when they started 6 months ago. Their services I cannot recommend at all. Poor servicing in all aspects of our yard.

This company does not take responsibility and blame customers. My yard got worst after using this company- instead of getting better my yard was getting worse and worse. When I called them for the issue, they blame weather, irrigation, season blah blah blah…I would give ZERO star if I had option.
