Tapani Inc. a month agoTapani is a fly by night non union contractor that likes to hire mostly poorly trained and below average skill workers, as well as to under bid on projects in SW Washington, Northern Oregon, and SE Washington mainly. They use Union laborers to do carpenter work and don’t pay those laborers carpenter scale. Shame on this scab company.

Somers Design Build LLC a year agoUpdate..her license is no longer good.. nor is her bond. People have filed against her bond . .2022.. she is no longer at this address…. moved out overnight.. business owner never contacted us to fix any of our issues.. .. We contracted with Sophie Keller of Somers Design Build LLC in Spring of 2019, after meeting with her in late 2018. We hired her as a general contractor for our long awaited shop construction. Shop construction was to begin mid summer 2019 and be completed October 1, 2019. 1. She communicated very poorly. Did notr return our calls. 2. She did not pay some subs, smearing our reputation, by telling them they would be paid, when we paid her. This was a total lie, as we had already issued payment and she had our money to pay them. 3. She had excuses galore . from changing dates, to going over budget by 35K, for not being available to meet.. She had an answer for everything. 4. We had a lien placed on our house because of her non payment of a contractor. ( subsequently it was removed) 5. We had to tell her more than once that we wanted copies of the invoices from the contactors. She was reluctant to provide them and only after we said …” NO MORE CHECKS for you” until we could see the paperwork, did she relent. We parted ways with her in June/July 2020 after an in person meeting, the first in 4 months, where she accused us of ” haranguing her ” when we were trying to discuss timing, money ( nonpayment of subs) and other excuses she regularly gave. DO NOT under any circumstance do business with this person or firm. We lost time, thousands of dollars, were subject to constant stress and aggravation because of her lies and scam.

N W Construction General Contracting 8 months agoWhile on the freeway a BIG rock hit my windshield (chipping it), As I drove up to check out the construction trailer in front of me I noticed they had rock and dirt they picked up while loading a attachment for a logging truck on the trailer. I took pics of the trailer and pics of truck, sent them into there office, she was unwilling and didn’t care called it, A Road Hazard and they are not responsible. As well as sending pics back lying saying there wasn’t any rocks on the trailer. Dishonest people! SWEEP YOUR TRAILERS OFF!

Miller’s Sons Contracting, LLC a year agoCan’t say enough good about this company. They do quality work from start to finish in a timely manner and seem to exceed expectations! Their communication, company policies & structure is definitely one to model after. MSC did a total update & remodel of the outside of our shops, adding a dormer, windows and timber framing. This was over 2 years ago and we still receive compliments on the outcome. Thank you MSC!
