Lewy’s Sod Landscape and Dirt Work

I’ve struggled with leaving my review of this company. We had our front yard landscaped with Lewy’s. They planted in the fall and made it clear that ANY items that did not come back in the spring, would be replaced at no cost with no issues! Within a month of planting, one of the evergreens turned brown, obviously dying. We sent pictures to the landscape supervisor that did our bid and installation. He said, no problem! When the spring comes, if it doesn’t come back, I’ll take care of it. Fast forward to March of this year, it’s still dead and brown like it looked in the fall. We reached out, texted, called, sent pictures… after 4 phone calls and multiple texts, he comes by and says he will replace it for $160. Not to mention, there were 3 other smaller plants that did NOT survive either that we replaced on our own!! Just really disappointed that we spent $4,500 with this company and they did not honor their word to replace the plants that didn’t survive the winter. Even though it was his recommendation to plant in the fall because it would all come back in the spring. So we have a dead evergreen tree that we now have to replace on our own because I will not give Lewy’s another dime to replace a tree I already paid for!

Lewy’s did a wonderful job with our landscape from start to finish!! David, Michael, Shaun, Roberto & his team worked very hard to see it through and bring our vision to life!! Their courtesy, time, work ethic, & attention to detail was unsurpassed, and we are so appreciative of the results, and wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again for our future landscaping needs! Well Done, Lewy’s!! Thanks!!

These guys are professionals at what they do! They redid a culvert for us as well as some beautiful landscape work. They removed several old bushes and redid the mulch. It made the yard and house look 100% better! Thank you guys for your hard work. I would recommend you all to everyone! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bought some top soil from them for my garden.. got it delivered 3rd party to my house and figured out iw was mostly clay and no good… called to let them know and they shifted blame denied that i got what i got.. then said “well no one else has said anything ” .. i wouldn’t trust this business.. for a response like that for a little thing..imagine the response to a bigger issue 0/10

Lewy’s, or perhaps more specifically, the owner, seems to have lost their hunger to satisfy customers. We had used them before for light landscaping so thought we would give them a try for a bigger job including hauling rock and spreading it. To make a long story short, last minute, the owner told me he was putting an inexperienced operator on the job but that shouldn’t make a difference. Well, between that person and the owner’s lack of supervision of him, it was a mess. The situation caused more damage that later needed to be repaired by another company. When notified, the owner acted and said things that were vengeful and defensive and tried to deflect blame and responsibility. His half-hearted offers to meet and discuss the issues were mixed with offers/threats to pull his equipment and get out of completing the job. He became angry when I tried to get a recovery plan and was unprofessional in his language and condescending in his treatment even though he/his company caused the situation. We were forced to find another company to complete the work and they did a marvelous job with none of the stress and problematic communication encountered with Lewy’s. The owner demanded we pay an amount that took nothing into account of our hardships and threatened legal involvement if we didn’t comply. I would steer clear of this company and certainly do not recommend them.

Couldn’t be more tickled with the work they did on our driveway. It washed so bad in the last big storm that it was nearly impassable. The guys at Lewy’s did a hell of a job repairing the runoff, installing a culvert and regraveling the entire driveway. It’s hard enough digging that deep in the pockets to fix these problems, Lewy’s made it as easy as they could for us and I appreciate that. Hopefully we’re set for a good long while. I can’t recommend them enough if you need work done.

After landscaoing job; we had several plants that died. We called them and they came out to look at them. One particular shrub, we had 20 or more of them die.. I think the plants were poor quality. They admitted that that many of the same kind dying seem to be a supplier problem They told us that they would get with supplier and get back with us..They have not. For the amount of money that we spent we expected this to be taken care of It was not. We are thinking about paving our drive…Guess who is not going to do it! I wish we had went with Turners Landscaping instead of lewy’s.

Randy was my guy. He came out to meet and go over how we wanted our driveway. As we were doing the design I had other issues with some tree roots and an old existing well house that I had no idea how to get rid of and he let me know he could remove the old well and the roots and continue with the asphalt which is exactly what I wanted so I was thrilled to know they could do it all. He paid attention to what I asked for and had great suggestions. We had great communication throughout the whole process. Randy even sent progress pictures the day of installation, which I loved. I now have exactly what I had envisioned. I highly recommend Lewy’s!
